Crystal Red is a stunning color, but Rky Mtn C6's (Chris Capshaw's) 2012 Grand Sport stole the show when it popped up in the conversation. Personally, I think Crystal Red and Supersonic Blue are in a dead tie when it comes to Corvette colors, but thanks to stunning photography, Crystal Red's thunder was stolen with more rapidity than a mugging in New York.

Unfortunately I had an accid in my 09 crystal red convert while out with the Forum Gang in So. CA and it took 3 tries and 5 mos to get the color right.....and it took a Ferrari Shop to fix it!! LOL

I'd like to know how you get your car on the track at Daytona ??? I do anything to take a few laps (at speed) on that track.

There are numerous HPDE organizers that rent Daytona. I can think of at least 5. Here are some links to the ones I know have rented it in the past, but not all may have their website updates with 2015 dates just yet. They all run very similar track events and are all about the same cost give or take. Daytona track days are a little more expensive than other tracks like say Sebring or Road America. To rent Daytona for 3 days cost $100,000. That will break down to roughly $400 +/- per driver, per day. Short of Talladega, there is no other place like it. Once you drive your Vette around the track, street driving will never be as enjoyable as you once thought it was. LOL

Crystal Red is an average color...

The Top color will probably always be Torch Red.. black and white would probably come in 2nd and 3rd.

Great color especially on the GS.Really like the silver wheels with that color too. Saw one in person like yours and really is the only one I like enough to THINK about giving up my Sunset Orange for. (Who am I kidding I cant afford a GS any time soon,) I just love everything you get with the GS. Style and performance wise. How about we trade ? DSOM after all is THE BEST COLOR!
