Any suggestions on low dust brake pads for Z06 brakes.

If your not going to track the car, Auto Zone ceramic gold. No dust on wheels. Have them on my 2012 GS, and they have a life time guarantee.

How do the AutoZone compare to what was on before as far as stopping is concerned?

Used them on a Camaro. The autozone ceramic gold come with new hardware, lifetime warranty, dust was moderate. I thought the were hard on the rotors. Check with Adam at AMP'D he has different pad options for street or track. Something has to wear and pads are less expensive than rotors.

A little dust isn't bad unless you never wash your car, I've tried Carbotech and Hawke, both seem to work well but my preference is for Carbo tech Bobcats (1511 I think). I really like the sensitivity of the brakes for Z06 brakes, when cold these pads do a great job stopping the car and there isn't a lot of dust. Carbotech also gives me a track option with minimal headache - I can switch to XP's with minimal bedding issues because the compounds are compatible and non corrosive.

Hawk Ceramics are quiet and no dust....but personally I don't think they stop that well.

StopTech's parent company C-Tek makes a good pad that works slightly better than Hawks and again is dustless.

Stoptech has their performance 309 series pads that work pretty well. I don't know of anyone saying they make noise...not dustless but 1/2 the dust of stock and they stop better than the OEM pads.
