Yea I remember the post you listed not much help. Might take a trip to a body shop and see if there is an easy way to remove it.

I'm assuming your speaking of the black plastic fairing that is part of the naca duct in the upper center of the front facia.

It's held in place by small clips, two on the top and two on the bottom.

Using your fingers squeeze the fairing together and pull it out.
