I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT (6.4 Hemi and 8 speed) on order and should be here in about 3 weeks! Should be a nice addition to my garage to pull the off road bikes (500KTM) and keep the ZR1 company! Yes, life is good

A Volt.
While I am, and always will be, a performance car enthusiast (and probably never will sell the Vette unless I fall on some money and decide to go C7), I do enjoy the prospect of driving (with more than decent performances) off the grid. Off the gas grid at least.

I have always been attracted by that thing, having a daily commute under 40 miles, it would let me drive to and from work with NO gas needed. Way to go.
I test drove the thing, and could not believe the 0-40 pull. Volt is the bomb.
And in addition (and unlike most other hybrids out there) the looks of it do not induce instant vomiting. Particularly the upcoming 2016 second generation model.... anxiously waiting for the Detroit unveiling coming up later this month.

That bike is a beast.... did lots of enduro / dual sporting with one of these, after riding 2 strokes 250's for two decades, and a couple of 500 (YZ and CR) I absolutely loved the 4 stroke power. Awesome machine.
Is yours street legal? The one I used was...what a blast! But definitely encouraging "risky" behavior in the city.

My next family vehicle purchase will most likely be to replace my wife's '13 Caddy ATS. We love the car, but I like to have at least one almost-new car in the family, and one that's under warranty. She'll probably want another ATS ... just the right size for her/us, and it drives like a dream.

As far as replacing my C6, I'll keep the one I've got for the foreseeable future. It's no longer my daily driver (I bought a '15 Subaru Forester for that) so the C6 will last a while. When I replace it, it'll probably be for a C8 if I can still get in and out of a sports car with relative ease ... but it'll have to look better to me than the C7. The 7 is just too flashy/radical for my likes. I don't mind the European-looking front, but don't like the back at all ... the lights, all the black paint, etc. So hopefully the C8 will be more pure luxury sports car and less flashy looking. All that's my opinion, of course.

I already have a new-ish daily driver, and the possibilities for a fun car are not exactly endless. All this for me assumes I even want something besides my '08, which right now I don't.

But I did look at pics and specs of the new GT350 Mustang and the Jaguar F type. One comes in convertible, the other doesn't. Interior comfort and noise issue for the convertible Jaguar as written up by a guy in C7. And the only convertible Mustang doesn't have the features of the GT 350. On the other hand, the C7 does seem like a pretty nice car if one can get by all the whiz electronics. The convertibles in the C7, base to Z06 are separated by almost $20K from what I can see, and that's a lot.

So, it is pretty easy to stay with what I've got at least for now. Or get a new Miata---life could be a lot worse....

Default No clue

My 2013 4LT GS only has 9,800 miles on it.
I don't see me in a C7.
Hopefully, something will pop up in the next several years.
No longer attached to GM, so, anything is possible.

I have no plans for another car right now. I plan to keep my C6 for several years to come. When the time comes again....who knows? I am thinking of possibly trading my 2009 Ultra Classic in next spring on a 2015 Ultra Ltd. We'll see.

I detest the look of the rear of the C7, so my next purchase will probably be a V6 ATS for the family car and keep driving the '07 until they either "fix" the C7 rear or the C8 comes out.

I just bought an ATS... They are nice!

So at 300K on the Vette, I will be looking at a C7.
That is in the far off future.

New Yukon XL Denali next year. Unless GM does something to improve the looks of the C7 Corvette we will hold off on a new Vette until the C8 arrives (if that will ever happen). The '13 427 vert will do quite nicely until then.

For the last many years I've been saying my next fun car will be something other than a Corvette. But, I always go with another Vette. It's kinda like a genetic defect in me.

When I retire in 2 years, a new Z06. It will be difficult parting with my current C6 that I picked up at the museum and where I participated in and watched its assembly at the BG plant. It's been a perfect car and I hope the new one will be as well.

Last week I looked at a C-7 Z-06 and immediately decided that will be the next Corvette for me. On a practical note maybe a 2016 black/black 2LZ , aero package, black wheels coupe. Hopefully there will be some nice discounts in play then.

My next car will be an Acadia in the spring. I will buy a C7 sooner or later but with all the paint and motor issues cropping up im going to wait until at least 2016 now.

Never think about the NEXT car until I'm (tired of) or ready to sell the present one. Right now I'm enjoying my C6 GS too much to even consider buying something else. It's a 2013 and will be 2 years old Jan 18th. Thinking about a cup cake with 2 candles and a few balloons!!

It's hard to think about a next car since I've only had my vette for a few months now, but I'd probably look at ...

GT350 - really intrigued by this car, the motor just sounds absolutely beastly.
ATS-V - if I wanted a little more luxury with my performance..

unfortunately, every mid range vehicle coming out of Japan is pretty boring these days. Nissan needs something that bridges the gap between the Z car and the GTR. Maybe the Z just needs a turbo setup or a v8, their old v6 isn't competitive in the slightest. not a fan of german vehicles and their insane cost of ownership, unless you're buying new, not modifying it, and getting rid of it before the warranty is up ..

I'm kind of where Torchsport is but prefer a Yukon Denali. They came out with a new motor for 2015, another variable valve direct injection motor. Our 2011 direct injection motor has 90k miles on it and runs great. My 2006 Denali ran great with 100k and felt like new when I sold it, ready for another 100k.

Since my C6 is not a DD the next vehicle we will buy will be to replace Wife's 02 Trailblazer. Has 130K on it and runs great just showing its age some what She used to be on road good bit as sales rep but not anymore so only puts about 75 miles a week on it tops

Just had our first grandchild so i am sure she will stick with SUV, looking real hard at the Infinity FX 35 or Cadillac SRX. Probably hold off until this summer to buy another one, what ever it is will be a 2/3 yr old vehicle
