I was subscribed to a thread in the C5 section that was interesting and couldn't find in the C6 section. So lets see your NO or low cost, home made, do it yourself stuff (C6).

$2 later via a extra hockey puck from the lift puck project and some lathing/milling time and extra cord, which is already track proven to hold the phone rock solid.

A Partition.
Edit: After further review (memory refresh), this would probably cost ~$60-$100. I think I had the wood and flag already on hand.

"In honor of jpee"
Seriously, I'd say it was "no-cost" because I refused to keep track. I wanted what I wanted.
No one else that I saw offered a color-keyed, C6 convertible, back "lip" trunklid protector---all that I saw were black, nice black, but black nonetheless.
I was in Jo-Ann Fabrics and saw this very flexible, flannel-backed orange vinyl and I started thinking.....1. buy it, 2. put in eyelets in the corners, 3. use "stretchy" black cord to match/disappear with carpeting, 4. stretch/tie to two existing posts for cargo net in trunk, 5. make long enough to come out, over the body "lip" and down the rear "face" where the lights, plate, etc. are.
Problem solved: high liftover for things that could scratch the backend, or the top lip next to trunk lid. I don't use it a lot, but it's there when I need it. Plus, it looks the way I'd like it to.
It rolls/folds out of the way
Two Top corners, reinforced by folding material over, and using brass things (aka eyelets)
Soft Felt Backing---No Scratch

These are all things I borrowed from someone else out here, I've added many of the the links, but will continue to edit and improve this posting, to keep everything from me in one place.
1.) Hockey pucks with eye bolts (used for lifting the vette without damaging the side panels). One of many threads: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1578552271
2.) A hitch (used for towing small race parts trailer and bicycle rack). Here's a thread with several good designs: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...l-mode-ex.html
3.) Made my own foot petal controlled Mild to Wild switch. Button is mounted on top of the foot rest petal (to the left of the clutch). similar to here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1578552271
4.) Made my own cold air intake, it's easy for the GS/Z06 intakes. Similar to this: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ke-shroud.html
5.) Getting ready to install an additional 1/8" MP3 jack and USB jack inside the center console area. I'll follow this thread for starters: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ack-today.html
6.) Getting ready to insulate under the center console, and also insulate the tunnel plate. I ordered materials from Amazon. I'll also look at this this thread for starters: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...t-cockpit.html
7.) Replace bottom door hinge spring with S10 spring as mentioned near the bottom of this thread: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ing-noise.html
8.) Made my own Escort visor radar detector mount, and power it from the mirror. Similar to this: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...nt-w-pics.html
9.) Looking to possibly make some mesh parts for mine in the spring, similar to this: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...w-to-pics.html
10.) I made me a couple of spare keys, similar to what they describe at this link: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ey-how-to.html
11.) I have 3 different 2 by 4 wood pieces to use when jacking the vette. One for the front cross member, one for the rear cross member, and another one that fits in my floor jack to ensure that it stays fully extended (and does not bleed down and slowly lower the vette). This thread describes various wood and metal supports, and there are other similar threads out here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...cessories.html
12.) Add a homelink remote controller, by either buying new visor, or doing it like this: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-location.html

Melting Slicks
My OEM door sills were terrible.
Full of bubbles and just looked bad.
I bought a new set and opened them at the dealership. They had been bent.
What a shame at 70.00 for the set.
My sill was already cleaned up and I didn't know when the GM plates would be back in stock.
I had some extra CF wrap.
So I applied it to the sill.
I really liked the look.
Then I figured a Jake might look OK. Originally I was going to cut the Jake and let the paint come through the CF wrap.
I still might.
I hate the color of Jake. Maybe black would have been a better choice of colors.

No pictures but I used some old Gym mats and wrapped them in duct tape and I use them as sound deadening material in my trunk area, .........also behind my seat. Under the rugs.

I made my own crossbeams for jacking the car, ~$20 and works perfectly.
I'm about to cover a bunch of a pieces and make my own REAL vacuum infused carbon fiber parts around the car though (rear hatch pull down handle, handles, radio bezel top, door bezels, etc). Starting this week.
