AAA Doesn't Stock Corvette Batteries (pic, lo)
So my Delco battery died at the hand car wash yesterday, so after a jump-start I drove over to Harbor Chevrolet for a new one. They had a four hour wait time so I called AAA battery service while sitting in the dealer's parking lot. AAA confirmed my make and model and promptly sent a truck out.
AAA: "Sorry, we don't even stock Corvette batteries"
ME: "What if I go into Chevy here and get you a Delco?"
AAA: "We can't install other people's batteries"
ME: "What if I pay you a little cash under the table?"
AAA: OK

I had a dead battery once and called AAA and they said they did not carry batteries for certain makes of cars i.e. Corvette, Mercedes , Lexus , BMW etc...said it was a liability issue

Confirms my position that AAA road service doesn't work very well if you have a Corvette.
Needed a rollback to transport my Vette to the shop. Begain calling AAA starting at seven am. At five pm I finally called the premiere towing company in town. Within the hour my car was delivered to the dealer.
