Default Who owns a Carlisle Blue Corvette?

I was wondering how many people on the forum own a Carlisle Blue Corvette, since there were only 535 ever made, and only in 2012.
Manufacturing numbers are:
Base coupe - 109
Base conv - 42
Grand Sport coupe - 243
Grand Sport conv - 118
Z06 - 12
ZR1 - 11

So out of 11,647 Corvettes in 2012, only 535 were Carlisle Blue.
I have one of the 243 Carlisle Blue GS coupes.
Also I have option code 40A, which is the GS heritage stripe color white, and out of 5,056 GS coupes, there were only 81 with that option in 2012. I also have the code J6D, gray brake calipers, and out of the 5,056 GS coupes, only 248 had that option in 2012. So I have a few rare options on my car.

Very nice and I'm jealous of the Eforce kit!
I need one to shut up my father in law who has a ZR1...

I don't own one, but last summer I saw a Z06 (I believe---just not 100% sure now) with a white hood stripe...............it was striking......it was one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. And it was parked next to another great looking Z06 that only enhanced the overall scene. But, the blue one stood out..........it was at a small local car show at a dealership, and by far, more people were gawking and admiring the blue car. Fantastic color! You are lucky owners!

KGVette;

They are OEM Torque II wheels which were debuted on the Carlisle Blue car when it was introduced at the Corvettes at Carlisle show in 2011. They never made it into production (at least that's what was thought) but at the end of the production run of the C6, apparently GM released sets to vendors to sell. Not many sets were actually produced. I purchased mine from Nate at Nate's Garage (a forum vendor). He may have some remaining. I do believe there is another vendor who was selling them as well but you would have to look. I'm sure they are fairly scarce right now. At the Carlisle show, the painted ones were on the car but I have never seen those only the chromies.

Thanks, they do seem to be rare, however a Z06 or ZR1 would be the most rare! Only 12 Z06's made and 11 ZR1's made in that color.
They had a Carlisle Blue Z06 at Corvette World here in Houston, but it showed up about 3 months after I bought my car from them...sigh! I didn't want to take a loss on my car and had to pass on it. If only they would have had that car when I bought mine!

I have often wondered where I can find the production information out and what number my 2009 C6 Cyber Gray may be and for the lack of knowledge not the lack of trying on this can you direct me to how I might find this information out?

Sweet! Post pics if you can.
I would love to go to the Carlisle event, but it is around 1700 miles from where I live and would take a few days each way. In order to spend about two days there I would have to dedicate an entire week for the event. Maybe one day in the future!

Check with the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. I bought
a copy of the build sheet and window sticker from them for my 2012coupe.

I am confused about the 2014? It has to be a 2012 car!

they had a site once where you could put in your options and they would tell you how many were made with those options...its gone now unfortunately...I always look when I see CBs what color combos and options they have to compare mine ...not that it matters ...the car is a great car
