Default Powder Coating C6 Brake Calipers

Good Evening.

I am in the process of upgrading my brakes to the Drilled Delco Rotors with the Delco ceramic pads... As part of this project, I am going to remove the calipers and have them powder coated.

I have a 2006 LeMans blue vert... with a grey top...

I am thinking of going with red calipers... should the caliper mounting brackets also be powder coated during this project and what color.

Is red the best color for the color of my car?

Last, any issues bleeding the brakes... I have a pressurized bleeder... Still go from farthest away to closest.

Thanks

Definitely get the mounting brackets powder coated at the same time otherwise it'll look funny. It's only two additional bolts to remove each bracket. My car is black and I have the calipers powder coated blue because everyone else paints theirs red. Blue really looks good and has held up well over several years and counting.

I'd do them both. You know that red is the law in most of the lower 48 states!

Oldtimer here, I always thought you started farthest away from the Master Cylinder and worked closer, that would be RR, LR, RF and LF, correct? Maybe it's different with the Vette? Thanks...

And one other question, is Mike still the powdercoater of choice here on the Forum?

They put 1 front & 1 rear diagonally on the same circuit whereas it used to be front only & rear only. So if one fails you'll still have some braking at both ends.
