YAY!! Finally part of the club...
Wanted one since I was 18 now at 40 finally got one... 2008 with 28,500 miles on it... Ive owned 2 Mustang GTs in the past (my 20s) a 88 and 96 and a Dodge Stealth T/T and 3000 GT. This is my first sports car in 14 years! To be 100% sure I was a Corvette guy over the last several weeks I test drove a 2015 Mustang Gt, 2014 Camaro SS, 2009 370z, 2011 Gt500, 2013 Charger Srt8, 2008 C6.
The Vette won me over.. I knew Corvettes were awesome but never knew they were to this extent.. Kinda glad I didnt have anything like this at 18 i probably wouldnt be typing now knowing me lol.

Congratulations, good looking Corvette.
I also had a Stealth ES, torque steer was frightening the first time it happened. That was my first front wheel drive car. Lol

Congrats ! It took me 30 yrs . I wanted one since high school when my brother in law had a '60 . I finally got my '66 30yrs later , then got an '02 vert (kept the 66) . just sold the '02 and got a 2013 grand sport . They are all fun cars to drive , so get out there and drive the tires off it !!!!

Congrats ! It took me 30 yrs . I wanted one since high school when my brother in law had a '60 . I finally got my '66 30yrs later , then got an '02 vert (kept the 66) . just sold the '02 and got a 2013 grand sport . They are all fun cars to drive , so get out there and drive the tires off it !!!!
He wanted to drive it so I let him have at it.. He came back and said it was a blast to drive and even though he isnt into speed or sports cars he had to admit it was Fun..

Yeah,, my father is 66 and the last sports car he owned was a gto sometime in his 20's. I took it to my parents last weekend. My dad does'nt get excited over much as he and my mother are retired and drive a 2014 Chevy Transeve and he has a Chevy Silveraldo. He is more of a truck man but is def a chevy guy..
He wanted to drive it so I let him have at it.. He came back and said it was a blast to drive and even though he isnt into speed or sports cars he had to admit it was Fun..

I'm 68...got my first Vette at 51! Ya have to wait....but, as you will see, its way worth it!!!! Congrats.....good looking Vette!!!
