So this morning I woke up to an insanely low price alert from Australia back to LA for my next trip, which got lower when I checked it again, then they accepted a coupon code so my flight from Sydney to LA was only $454
Now that the beginning and ending flights are booked I'm committed. Just gotta fill in the in between.

more curious than anything...……………… and those are really great prices compared to what we typically pay for flights through work

December 7...………………… always remember those who were at Pearl Harbor and Hawaii that day...……………..
About 20 Pearl Harbor survivors observed a moment of silence at 7:55 a.m. Friday during a ceremony at Pearl Harbor.
That's the same moment the bombing began on Dec. 7, 1941.
The youngest of the survivors are now in their mid-90s but most stood to salute for the national anthem.
U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Commander Adm. Phil Davidson told those gathered the nation can never forget the heavy price paid with 21 vessels damaged or sunk, 170 planes destroyed and more than 2,400 killed including servicemen and civilians.
He says these losses did not break the American spirit but charged it.

I had a premonition on Dec 6, 1941, that the next morning was going to be bad, but since I was only 3 months old and couldn't talk yet, my crying went unanswered. You may not believe that's a lie, but it is.

I'm also going to take this day to remind everyone of what all went down...

This is the **** my grandpa had to deal with despite enlisting in the Army after Pearl Harbor and receiving two purple hearts during his tour in WW2.
Sad to see that **** is still happening the same way present day.

It does not compare to the fear people feel about illegal immigrants today. Especially after 9-11. Mostly the fear of the unknown, but fear nonetheless.
I salute your grandfather and all immigrants that came to our country and made it a better place.
