Never understood why anyone would accuse a GrandSport owner of being a Z06 poser.

I intentionally chose a C6 Grandsport over a C6 Z06 for the following reasons:
- reliability concerns over LS7 versus LS3
- Grandsport considerably cheaper to insure
- Add $6k of supercharger to a Grandsport and you get more HP than a Z06 and still at a lower price point
- removable roof

I guess because of my wheel choice I'm a ZR1 poser now ...

Oh well, nothing a beer can't fix. Slide me a Shiner Bock Hammy.

It's an argument that has taken place hundreds of times on this forum.

BTW....I've been close several times to pulling the trigger on those ZR1 wheels.
Yours looks AWESOME!

One question,....how do you keep your 'vette so clean on a dirt road?
Is that some kind of wizardry?

Yeah living on a dirt road has its disadvantages but I like the view from my deck. Cheers Hammy.

Thanks. I was fortunate to find a seller with a very clean set of ZR1 take-offs with tires less than 3 hours away so I got to inspect them first and didn't have to deal with shipping hassles. Picked up a used Billy Boat Fusion Z06 exhaust from another seller located less than 10 minutes from the owner of the wheels the same day. Made for a nice day trip with the spouse.

I had considered black wheels for my white Grandsport but just can't get passed how they "disappear" with the tires inside the dark wheel opening.

The strange thing is I really like the way the black OEM Grandsport wheels look on my wife's 2012 Centennial Edition.

To be honest I had always wanted a set of 2012 OEM Hyper Silver Cup wheels that were an option on the ZR1 (and next year 427) but you will have more luck bottling unicorn farts than finding a clean set of Cups in that color.

While I tend to lean towards the dark side, I gotta admit those ZR1 chromies, enhance the pristine look of your car! Beautiful!

One Bock draft comin' up...

The reason I've been using a number of GIFs from Seinfeld, is because that was a very successful TV show about nothing.

This, is a thread about nothing, that already has over 200 posts in just a few of days.
