Morning car guys and a nice one it is..... we are finally getting some leaves on the trees here..... and its time to mow the acreage.... I got the mowers all serviced and blades sharpened up so we are ready for a season of yard work. Now I am looking forward to it but that fades in a few weeks and its .... damn I gotta mow the lawns......

My bride and I are going into the Big O to attend a show put on by Steve Martin and Martin Short tonight...... we have always enjoyed their work so thought we should go check it our...... more on that later.

I washed the BSGS and it looks fine real fine...... takes me longer because its so wide you know......

Get out and get some work done today....... try to be a productive part of society Hamms........ you can do this.......

Heavy rain last night but luckily no hail. Clear this morning so off to the Home Depot to order roofing supplies for the shed. Started removing the old shingles.....got 3/4 done and it clouded back up. covered hole where skylight was and am waiting to see what happens.

HD will deliver sometime tomorrow, so there is going to be a roofing party here Sat. I will have warm PBRs for y'all, after were through of course. I have seen some of the GSers construction when they drank while the worked.

Y'all RSVP soon, spots will fill up fast.

first off, the video below kind of says it all................. at least from my perspective....................

been rainy or snowy here for 8 of the last 10 days....................

forecast is for Sunday to be sunny and about 65, but rain again right through the end of next week...............

thought I lived in Washington, MICHIGAN and not the left coast state known as Washington

H1 have fun at your event, and here's hoping that you can get the BSGS out for that activity........

Hey, hey, watch that...it's gonna be mid 60's next week in WA. Winter time in sun country is drawing to a close...I'll be headed north in about 10 days.

I hope your wife gets to the Big O before you do. She deserves to at least once.

this little story is in honor of H1...…………………….

A man walks into a bar with a paper bag.
He sits down and places the bag on the counter.
The bartender walks up and asks what’s in the bag.
The man reaches into the bag and pulls out a little man, of about 12 inches height, and sets him on the counter.
He reaches back into the bag and pulls out a small piano, setting it on the counter as well.
He reaches into the bag once again and pulls out a tiny piano bench. The little man sits down at the piano and starts playing a beautiful piece by Mozart.

“Where on earth did you get that???” asked the surprised bartender.
The man responds by reaching into the paper bag.
This time he pulls out a magic lamp.
He hands it to the bartender and says: “Here. Rub it.”

So the bartender rubs the lamp, and suddenly there’s a gust of smoke and a beautiful genie is standing before him.
“I will grant you one wish – just one.”

The bartender gets real excited.
Without hesitating he says, “I want a million bucks!”

A few moments later, a duck walks into the bar.
Another duck, then another soon follow it.
Pretty soon, the entire bar is filled with ducks and they keep coming!

The bartender turns to the man and says, “You know, I think your genie’s a little deaf. I asked for a million bucks, not a million ducks.”

The man replies, “Do you really think I asked for a 12 inch pianist???“

Tonight's full moon is actually tmorro morning. It is an intense full moon pushing us through our own birth canal into new truth, choice, and action. You must complete and put to rest anything that stands in the way of moving forward.
I have absolutely no idea what that means but, being I came through the birth canal many years ago I will say, as an elder, look at the moon...or not...and get over it.

I'm not sure but I think the work of Mr. Short may be to blame. But at least H1 enjoys Mr.Shorts work.

Wowzer......late night last night......but a fun one. Went to see Steve Martin and Martin Long at the Orpheum Theater last night...... it was a good show... lots of laughs of course and some kick *** music...took the rapid transit GS in for the performance and it was awesome..... did get a check engine light on the way home...... why I don't know yet..... I will check it out today.

I have to go to work now....... what are you laggards doing today? More waxing?

here is the band that backed up Steve on his banjo..... they were great.....I could have just listened to them all night.....

Man, I am exhausted today. I stayed up all night wondering where the sun went. Then it dawned on me.
