thought that this may be the reason the GS'ers think in the manner they have become accustomed too..................
won't see anything like that in the lower level................
base camp has a sign outside the door with prices and rules for admission and the festivities inside..................
notice the base camp prices, much more affordable than the over paying GS'er crowd...........
H1, can't we ALL chip in a get Big R more than a six pack of warm PBR's?
maybe we could get enough scrapped up to get him another side to go with his Bourbon Chicken besides rice...............

saw this in today's Motor City newspaper, thought it may interest the patrons............................. doesn't appear there will be any shortages due to driver's in the future............................
Anheuser-Busch says it has completed the world’s first commercial shipment by self-driving truck, sending a beer-filled tractor-trailer on a journey of more than 120 miles through Colorado.
The company says it teamed with self-driving truck maker, Otto, and the state of Colorado for the feat. The trailer, loaded with Budweiser beer, began the self-driving trip Thursday at a weigh station in Fort Collins, Colorado, and ran along Interstate 25 through Denver before wrapping up in Colorado Springs.
In an online blog post, representatives of Otto wrote that the truck hauled 51,744 cans of beer. A professional truck driver was on board for the entire trip, according to the firm.
The driver drove the truck from the distribution facility to the highway. Once on I-25, the driver hit a switch and the truck’s cameras and radar sensors took over.
“Otto’s system controlled the acceleration, braking and steering of the truck, to carry the beer exit-to-exit without any human intervention,” the blog post said.
The company says a professional truck driver was on board for the entire route and monitored the trip from the cab’s sleeper berth.
According to Otto, the goal is to give truck drivers a chance to rest during long stretches of highway driving.
“When you’ll see a truck driving down the road with nobody in the front seat, you’ll know that it’s highly unlikely to get into a collision, drive aggressively or waste a single drop of fuel,” the company wrote in their blog.
Anheuser-Busch says it hopes to see self-driving technology widely deployed.
Otto was recently acquired by Uber.

I wonder if when the driver was in the sleeper observing the operation was able to sample the beer to test for quality?

Our Cascadia has a nice sleeper in it........maybe not that nice but has room for the tv and a computer station.....not a bad bed in it.......I could use some nap time as we roll down the highway......its just 80K of rolling death......nothing to worry about.......I can run 95K if all my pusher and tag axels are down.....
On an early run so gotta go........here is pic of Pete loading Potash down by the Missouri River yesterday.........
No sleeper on this truck.....may add one though.....I like to take a nap while waiting in line to load.......
Have a safe day Hammy's.........back on the road again...

Rainy Day
Sitting here on Thursday morning, a gloomy cool morning. Have the duty for 72 hours so I took the company vehicle home. There it sits, in front of the GS. The GS is lonely and calling to me but alas, can't "haul" in it if I get a call.
Need some windshield time in the Vette.
Can only pop in to Hammy's for a few minutes 'cause revelry and the job don't mix well....
What did you do today?
