Yep, cause he'd still need that to overcome the fat fender aero drag.

Fat fenders and narrow bottoms that's how we roll.

Nice pictures. I happened to see Ray Evernham's Americana the other night about the museum sink hole. Very interesting show and holy cow does Hendrick have a lot of Corvettes. If I heard correctly one of every model ever made?

Jeezus, after reading "NCM sticker placement?" (It's too big for the windshield) and "Possible spun bearing?" (I was running 2 quarts of oil) I need a double shot!!! In fact, make it a double double.

Thanks for the pics. Is that place open to the public?
Of all those really cool cars, the '53 Caddy concept is the most bitchin for a boulevard cruiser.

Hoxxy, only open to the public a couple times a year for "special events"........ like the Woodward Dream Cruise or North American International Auto Show weeks............ sometimes they will work with a charitable group / organization and also allow access......... mostly a "storage facility" for GM owned vehicles, as some do get moved around for other events and shows GM participates in............

here's a thought for you AZ boys..........when the heat there goes way up in the summer maybe you guys could plan a week here in MI during the annual Woodward Dream Cruise week in August and then get some exposure and opportunities to see some of the cool places, things here in the Motor City area related to automobiles?????????

I had a strange dream that someone thought the dipstick could show they were running with only 2 qts of oil. Thank goodness it was only a dream. I mean someone with a valid DL would be smarter that that, right? Right?

On my noise problem .......went with a Wix xp filter. Same filtration as the M1 but with a higher flow rate. Absolutely no noise at all yet. Went ahead with the 10w30. Hope thst was not a mistake.

Wonder if the M1 filter had enough debris built up to reduce oil flow?
