Ok, you old drag racers. Let the criticism begin. Remember this was my first time ever on a drag strip. It was fun but took 3 hours to run 3 passes.

not too shabby H600..................... you should check with Hoxxy if you had any issues or concerns today, so that the next trip to the dragstrip should make it even more fun and less worrisome.........

I am assuming that the toque convertor is still stock, and that all the mods so far are the shiny thing on the right side of your engine and the tune........

When I looked at it I thought "it better be the right lane or H600 will catch all kinds of chit".

Hope you had a good time. Been many years for me......back in 78 with my 69 Coupe. I did 12 sec 1/4s but had 4:11 gears.

It was nostalgia racing day. Have no idea what these cars are but they were pretty fast.

Looks like a couple straight-axle Nova gassers and a Cyclone (?) A/Factory Experimental against a Super Stock C Fairlane.
Fun to watch...

Not bad H6.....good reaction time for a GS'er......I think a 1. something is good for the 60 foot time......just thinking out loud...... 11.4 at 145 is real good......nice run......no missed shifts I take it........

The white car is a Nova but the blue car looks like a Rambler........ maybe.......

H1, I have been busy securing entertainment for tonight. Being as how today is National Chocolate Pudding Day I have booked the Sweet sisters, Semi and Bitter, for some good ol' fashioned chocolate puddin wrasslin...

As usual, free admission for the GSers. Basers pay the normal 15 buck cover with the 1 for 2 drink special...as in get 1 pay for 2.

Spoons will be available.

Well time for some new tires. Just ordered M All Season 3+ run flats. They are replacing my M AS+run flats. Will also need my second alignment as the inside of the front tires is wearing badly. First set that has done this.

Hope to get them this afternoon or in the morning.
Hope they give me a little more grip.

H1 when my car did that it was the wheel bearing but I was at 140,000 miles. Replaced all 4 with SFK bearings, took about 5hrs to do. Also changed rear half shafts at that time.

....found the problem on baby......had a header exhaust clamp making contact with the heat shielding on the drivers side. So when I turned right the torque would make contact and the noise and rumbling would begin...... moved the clamp and took it out for a drive and all is good in the firmament once again.....

Almost free PBR's in the lounge and there is extra pudding on the buffet line........
