H1 you were correct in the estimate of cars to be replaced due to Harvey.....................

just hope not too many of those swallowed up or flood damaged get put back on the roads through insurance company auctions................

will be some deals to be had, but you would be dealing with electronic glitches forever unless all the wiring and computers and sensors would get replaced...............

should help them clear out the left over 2016, 2017 and 2018's on the lots though................. as people look to replace the totaled ones

been long hours for me.............. sucks big time.................. the group of three I work with get no support and seem to be tasked with getting it done, even if it isn't ours to do.................

my upcoming trip is to save an upper level person from getting blasted for not being able to explain why things in that area were so detrimental to part performance and then costs associated to repair them................ they can send me to look and see what I can, then report to the very "up top" levels they spent money, time and effort to see what was going on............... except the worst of it was in the past winter months.................

Ruxxy told me "Don't let the bastards beat you down" and I can manage through most of the BS................

just hate the politics, stupidity, and laziness of others making the work lives of those in my team miserable....................

here's a round on me for all the gang here, as the posts I make during the day usually happen when I take a break at work, just so I don't go ballistic on some deserving soul........................

Hey guys, I bought one of those Tech 2 clones. I'll be trying to learn how to use it. If anyone has knowledge/tips I'll be listening.

This evening I was skimming through Craigslist, and ran across an 07 Z06 in Dodge City....says IRS Auction.....not sure, thinking about checking it out. Don't really need/want another Corvette, but if it checks out and is cheap enough, I could flip it. Maybe it has a CEL and I can use my new scan tool.

TB....................... I have an "original" GM Tech II from my dealership days when OBD II launched, and have used the "knock-off" version as well that another friend has and they both perform the same tasks identically.................. my advice would be to start slow and play, but like a computer do not save changes to parameters unless you really want to change them.

Useful for more things than the typical non professional will ever need.

I tried to attach a pdf file from the GM tool which is the "Users Guide" here but the file size is too large, will send it via email from my work address.........................

on another note................ the package I sent to the PO Box there returned to me yesterday.......... marked undelivered???

will take it back to my post office tomorrow and see why......... will send you an email tomorrow once I get it sorted...................

GOOOOOD MOOOORNIN, HAMSTERS!!!

As Groucho Marx said...I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in there I'll never know.

Keep the dream alive, hammys. Hit the snooze button.

Go forth and wish for a GS!

Hell, even if it doesn't you should plug in your scanner, say "UH-OH" real load and spout off a couple killer code numbers. Might cut the bidders back a little.
Just sayin...:lol

no politics in baser camp..................... we do what we say and say what we do..........................

either one while running past the GS'er we come across..........

work ticked me off as I had to cancel a vacation day due to being way behind on trying to complete the requirements of 3, will be able to work from home over the weekend and Monday, and then I find out upper level decides to take the day off today "just because"

Walmart greeter or Home Depot clerk position looking pretty good right about now..................

for the price these guys are buying the knock-off for it is a great buy when compared to the original pricing we were offered through GM dealerships back in the day.................

even if you use it for a simple task one or two times, the cost savings of going to a dealer make it a worthwhile purchase..........

So I'm guessing after hearing the 1956 song "Green Door" by Jim lowe, you never watched the 1972 film "Behind the Green Door" (X-rated) to find out what was really there.
