Wazzup Homies......? Been so busy driving and working that I have not been by the bar for awhile....... good to see you been keeping the banter up..... I'm back out today but get the weekend off.... I'm taking the GS on a trip today to see my Ma...... that will be fun right?

I now am getting worried about Wayback....... 2 weeks is a long time not to post anywhere on the forum......maybe you should make the call Rocketman........

Ruxy.....glad you made the trip south alright.....stay outa the adult bookstores......or novelty stores...... nothing good there for you.......blood pressure you know.....

More later...... I haven't heard from H6 or Hjr either for awhile..... I better see whats up....JR is no doubt getting into trouble with those big hair dryers he was putting on his Hybrid.....

Have a fine day Hammers.....

Yes, and the third Thursday of the month usually somes right before...a Friday!

As an old "hot lips" (a triple tongue maestro) trumpeter myself, I enjoyed the Maynard Ferguson sound.

As H1 said...up and at 'em, hamsters!!!

Today is National Mammography Day!
Breast cancer is a serious issue. National Mammography Day is observed annually on the third Friday in October as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This day serves as a reminder to all women that the best defense is early detection.

As a side note...was it a coincidence President Bill Clinton proclaimed the first National Mammography Day in 1993.

Home Game......GO COUGS

Later, got to change the oil in the 4x4 today for the trip over the hill to Seattle. Looks like Seattle here now, raining and very overcast the last couple days.

Hope the GS is running great now Ruxxy. Bet it feels good to get back in the saddle with the top down. Send some pics when you have time, and if you connect with a club meet down there.

Just keep your clothes on in the light and dump the thong. Works for me... It's not a case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" If you have too, get something unusual, full body, and cheap, and a couple of Tattoo's

Ohh and one of those Tape hair pull Jobs too....

$1.99 On Ebay Edit.....Just the Thong........the body is Extra, no His & Hers...Just Saying

Got a couple of these from some LV Vette guys awhile back. You could probably get one to wear with the Thong(if you have too).... Maybe the Mrs...would get the Idea if you wear them together often enough...

If that doesn't work you could probably get one of these for Halloween, locally.....just saying...get an Extra large to help cover the Thong.... I would think she might ask you if something's wrong, or you are feeling insecure...that's your opening...lol

Ok, boys and girls, here's the deal:
I feel like a newb, but...after replacing my battery I got the dreaded 'service everything" DIC message. I have driven it quite a bit the last two days with several on/off cycles and the messages are still there. What do I need to do to reset the codes???
And the first one that answers with some smart-assed "basers know how" know that

1. Time for a new Baser Corvette C6 of course
2. You may have too much Drag from the Wide Body and it's upsetting your anti-magnetic Pulse Simulator
3.The Mrs..had to ride home with you from the Airport and she has the other Fob in her purse....could be screwing up things....
4. Standard answer for Newbies.....Check the battery, take off the cables then replace and don't forget to reset the windows
5. Check you Manual for Dummies.. & Page 66 don't know what's there.
6 Since it's a Vert run the top up and down 3 times, make sure it's locked...
Big 7 Check the gas cap to make sure it's on

Big 8 ...We need more information about the car..Model, year, You know we can't help a Pig in a Poke....

I'll keep thinking, you might post in General or Tech till then.
Have you thought about a Mustang, for the mechanically challenged?

Edit....Take the Thong off, maybe be screwing up any Heat Sensors...You're probably lucky Hoxxy is close now, bet he can fix anything, even on a GS'er

PS...know you are lurking, for answers so you can say you fixed it yourself after ........just saying Do you really have a "service everything" don't think the Basers have that one......Check you manual again......I for one won't tell Hoxxy you called him "an old fart Baser"

All I got....from google DIC message removal but it's on a 2005

DIC Warnings and Messages
The following messages and warnings may appear in the DIC display. The DIC display area is located in the instrument panel cluster below the speedometer and tachometer, directly above the steering column. You may receive more than one message at a time. Messages will appear one behind the other. To acknowledge a message and remove it from the display, press the RESET button. You may scroll through the messages that may have been sent at the same time. The message center is continuously updated with the vehicle performance status.

Did that. Opened the driver side door, turned on the parking lights, put my left hand on the steering wheel, put my right hand on my zipper (just in case...old Boy Scout thing...be prepared), lifted my left leg, barked out a couple, and it still didn't clear.

And hoxxy IS an ol' fart!

You might check the Landlord/Tenant laws before you do that, we may end up owning the GS'ers bar if it's worth Triple Damages, especially when half the stuff down here is always on the Fritz..

you had to know that there was no way this threat of being at the top of your list would go unanswered................

as Nowucme mentioned, using the rest button will only clear them temporarily if there was a DTC present................ which there may have been with the original battery concern................ low battery may have caused a DTC to set and it would need to get cleared from the system to resolve the lights.................. some auto parts stores have the capability to read and clear them and usually will do it for free..............

hope that takes care of your message issues, otherwise it may be a ground somewhere, but with it being so dry there, hard to imagine any corrosion being built up anywhere near the grounds...............

maybe if you didn't call Hoxxy old, he would have chimed in too................... remember wisdom comes with age............... a lot of old, wise basers here................

just sayin'................

H1................. the number found for wayback has been disconnected........................... will keep looking...............................
