Yep, you got it. Have to watch out for ELY they have a State Patrol outpost there. Believe me I know. Nice guys, the ones I have met
Had been doing 95 to 100 in my C5 couple years ago. Came over a rise close to Ely and A SP was just pulling out on opposite side. Had slowed down to 89, figured 20 over might be reckless call. Saw the SP station when I went through Ely....
He flipped around so fast thought he was going to smoke the tires. Had me right on the nose...at 89. After a few tense moments gave me a 75 in a 70, said won't go on record, just send in $68 for the County fund.. I felt like giving him a Tip right there and then...Only thing bad about it was half dozen cars I had passed went by me as I was stopped.......you know what they were thinking......

Coming back was taking it a little easier. Picked up a couple rabbits. One was a little Ford compact, then a Honda, then a nice Bentley with a good looking blonde driving with and old guy in the passenger. That little Ford would go 90-95 and we all went 90-95, he'd slow down a little and we all would. Worked out pretty good.

The Bentley stopped in Wells, so I told the wife I had to take a pee....She was good looking too... But I was getting around 27mpg in the Vette. Have gotten as high as 28+ in the C6 by the car figure anyway at 75-80.

well it is the last day of the year..................... and in preparation for 2018 the basers have gotten ready for any festivities that may happen later................

seems that the college football bowl games have led to some fascinating facts.................... with someone constantly mentioning "best coast"............. guess we will let the facts speak for themselves...............

This bowl season was one that Pac-12 teams would not mind forgetting.

With three-fourths of the conference headed to bowl games, there was potential for the Pac-12 to have an impressive showing and prove that despite not having a team qualify for the College Football Playoff, it is still one of the better Power-5 conferences.

Instead, Utah was the only one of the nine teams to win its bowl game and the Pac-12 ended the bowl season with the worst record ever for a Power-5 Conference for an entire bowl season.

The previous record was set in 2008 when Big Ten teams went 1-6. That year Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State all suffered losses in their bowl games while Iowa was the only team to walk away victorious.

This year the Pac-12 saw Oregon, UCLA, Arizona, Stanford, Washington State, Arizona State, USC and Washington all lose and the Utes be the only team to pick up a win.

Stanford, Washington State, USC and Washington were all ranked in the top 20 in the final College Football Playoff rankings and fell to other ranked opponents.

The Pac-12 was outscored by a combined 87 points in the nine games with Washington State's 25-point loss to Michigan State being the most lopsided of the defeats.

Stanford and Arizona lost by two and three points respectively and Arizona State, UCLA and USC lost by 21, 18 and 17 points respectively.

And the Big Ten — shut out of the College Football Playoff after Wisconsin lost to Ohio State in the conference title game — moved to 7-0 in bowls this season.

Hey hey.....we are in a bowl game...... the Peach bowl...... funny thing is its just all of our new coaches.....and none of our players....... wonder when that has ever happened before.... of course we are playing Auburn......damn.....that is going to be a tough nut to crack...... hope we can at least hang with them.......kinda......

Haha......I have had that same thing happen when I have passed a bunch of cars while I was at speed only to be stopped for some minor infraction and had all those low life's I passed go by honking and waving...... sonsabitches....... the cop got a kick out of it........ must be your fan club....... me, Yeah something like that.......

very cold out today and worse tonight...... enjoy the pics of warm climes though...... I was wondering where all our PBR went.......nice truck though..... do the GS'ers own that?

Wow another year into the history books......the older I get the faster they seem to go...... have a safe day and night we want you all back for the next year as Hammy's will continue its epic quest for 1 million hits........ or is that one million cans of PBR.....

To infinity and beyond Hammers........

Happy New Year everyone.....hope '18 is a Great Year for you

Ruxxy, don't forget pictures of the Pool Party and your water wings. Also Miss Bacon & Eggs and the others... Looks like you are the New Hugh Hefner with a smaller back yard. Remember to turn on the pool light so we can see what the Skinny Dippers are up too....just saying.

Husker, we will be watching Big Red come next Fall. See if the Frost is on the Pumpkin so to speak... Never heard of an Ex-Coach in a Bowl Game either. Was wondering if that was the case??

RKJ, let us know when the Wedding is, or did I miss something. Just want everything to be Legal when you start having kids.....

Well, better go see if the wife is taking her medicine. She picked up a bottle of Fireball this afternoon. Maybe we'll put a log on the Fire tonight....

Hey hey somebody get in here and help me clean up the joint......wow what a mess.......about 11:30 we told the guards to let the basers in because we were feeling all warm and fuzzy.....alcohol may have had something to do with that decision..... like a tsunami they engulfed the food tables and large horse tanks filled with beer and ice..... I caught a couple of basers stealing the little sea shell soaps from out of the executive bathrooms...... no shame at all........

Happy new year to ya mates........ -15 degrees here in the center of normalcy ..... a magical place called Huskerland........ got a full slate of Bowl games on tap for the big screen today starting with the Peach Bowl against Auburn...... geez that will be a tough one for our new Husker staff to win........ Auburn just missed getting into the final 4 and they are going to want to take it out on someone........

All the best to everyone at Hammy's for the coming year.........

maybe Michigan needs to practice with these kids to learn how to hold onto a football........................

difficult to win when you can't hang onto the ball............

January 2................... back to work day for some of us lucky one's here...............

but since it is a New Year.................. and possibly a new start to improving the baser and GS'er facilities............... thought that cleaning up the hovel as H1 suggested might be a good start...........

spent the better part of New Year's Day managing to watch the baser girls tidy up the hovel....................

was too cold for much else..................

since it may be a new start.............. to get the GS'ers headed in the right direction................. here's a sample of the beer the basers will provide the widebodied boys

and with a New Year also comes some new resolutions...........

overheard a GS'er sayin' he had to loose some weight..............

promised his wife he would loose his belly flab and get a "six pack"...........

like any good baser would do.................
took him to the mall and had the GS'er get his "six pack" promise resolved in about an hour.............
