I even gave him the out of round figures. 0.032 and he said there shouldn't be a problem. So I ask, if it were you, you wouldn't waste your time doing it?
No way.
I've spent a good part of my working life in the aerospace manufacturing world. Parts that were not to spec when they were in final inspection were far better off going in the scrap barrel, since "fixing" them compromised their integrity. Apparently, these wheels either didn't get inspected or the company only does random inspections. If all 4 were out of round, I'd avoid that brand in the future, since concern for quality is not their strong point.

I have to agree. You are into the wheels $0.00. Scrap them.
If you pay to have them straightened, pay to have tires mounted, and they are still out of round you are out some money. If the straightening compromises the wheel and it comes apart on the freeway you are really out...money, time, injury. It could be ugly.
You are back to square one. Start fresh.

Oft times, on a particularly warm afternoon, we GSers enjoy a taste of fine tequila with an ice-cold Dos Equis...while you basers guzzle warm Buckhorn.

Don Julio Real. A paltry $350/bottle...

Thanks guys.

I've only ever done OT bars and NE section bars. Not so much ne anymore as it's not like it used to be over there.

Doc says it can't get any worse so no hurry on the surgery...so I'm leaving for AZ next week to lay my fat body in the sun and sip the good stuff. Thanks for asking.
