Got my new Michelin AS3+run flats put on just in the nick of time.

You can see the cords on the top tire. That was driver's side front interior. Went to get an alignment but they were very busy..not even a parking space. 12 bay repair shop.

New tires are so much quieter and smooth. Did a blast well into 3 digits and no vibration at all. Old set was very noisy compared to these.

Will try to get alignment tomorrow.

I always love the feeling of driving on brand new tires.

your old fronts look a lot like mine did before I swapped them out in October.............. although I left mine a few days for the tires and alignment............... you will love the new tires............... All Season???

planning to head north for the winter????

just askin'.................

H600 & H1................... need to know when I head west should I go through Wisconsin and Minnesota or stay south of Chicago and cross the midwest through Iowa and the other corn belt states before turning back north to SD??????????

If I go through MN, I can possibly meet up with my Meeaattaa baser brother.............

speaking of which................. ain't seen hide nor hair of him lately............... hope he didn't forget the lowly basers since he now has his World Class Sports Car...................

There is a thread about front tires. 3 people with the AS+ Michelin had the inside wear like mine. One had his alignment checked and it was fine, blamed the tire. No other brand I have used ever wore like that.....hmmm.

All season for the colder temp in the winter and rain in spring.

Go North in the winter? Are you crazy????

I would head north as soon as possible. Too bad you have to drive all the way around that lake. Around here we have bridges that go across our lakes.

coming from the GREAT LAKE state............. I could take a ferry from western MI to WI and save some drive time............. and here our lakes seem to be a little larger in size...........

hell the bridge from the lower peninsula to the upper in 5 miles long......... like the Florida Keys.........except we get the white stuff in the winter.........

Actually Rocketbud the best way is to head south to St. Louie.....then moving quickly to KC drop down and pick up old 66 thu OK City.....while there pick up my stranded driver whose POS 13 KW is so messed up electronically that no one knows how to fix it........ then come straight north up 35 till it turns into 81 and drop him off at home then proceed west on the 80 until you reach Ogallala...... then meander north to the promised land........and if you could leave like soon that would be great......

I am getting rid of every truck that has any emission controls and sensors and DEF and that Regens going down the road.......sonsabitches......... Been at KW in OK City since Friday and none of those laptop techs can make the truck work.....now they have no codes and no ck engine lights and the truck will barely get up to speed....... so without a code they are lost.....I am in the market for a pre 07 Pete to replace that modern clean idle marvel......hey at least we can go to California with it........if you could get it up the hill....... geez........

Must go to my happy place now........wait Hammy's is my happy place.......shot and beer please.........don't care what order its in.......

At least my GS is running great....... yippee......

Whaaay......what size are those tires....they are so.......skinny....... are those 7.75 X 15's ? you know you can get the 8.25 X 15's to fit under your fenders ok......without cutting the fenders for clearance a bit...... Though you should know........

if that happens.............. Ms. 427's sister lives in that area........ only a couple hour nice, scenic ride for me...................

just a little bit past the M.I.S. facility.................

if you need a recommendation on a place to stay...............

Michigan has a State Penitentiary in that area too.........

you know how to get in touch.............. keep me posted......

Too funny, 427man. I'm at the lake so limited access. Will be in touch.
Oh, what color jumpsuits? Not sure I look good in orange.

don't know that I wouid agree with that statement way..........

seems if he doesn't look good in orange............. perhaps these pictures of the GS'ers at a recent event may offer Ruxxy some additional color choices................

pretty certain that ALL the GS'ers are old enough to have some comprehension of the '70's...................
