Big R we all will be praying for your return to good health....... probably something Hammy's is not known for is being prayer warriors.....but I'm thinking we can mount a formidable amount of health prayers when the time is right.........of course as anything at Hammy's there will be a slight charge for that....... J/K prayers will be no charge........

So anyway I was excepting a large charge for trying to sneak by the weigh station.......hell I wasn't sneaking I was blowing through there at 75 mph yelling on the CB to get the hell outa my way......... but alas.....I got caught......I thought it was going to be a big fine but ended up 195 bucks........ I'm like really? heck that ain't bad.....I have paid that much in court costs before........ I promise to try and do better......I do not want to bring shame to my Hammy fammily .......

Have a fine day Hamms......

Glad it was "only" $195! I got dinged twice that for doing 90 in a 65...in California! I will admit things got a little scary with a pissed-off CHiP acting like he was going to ram us as I braked, signaled and came to a stop.

Try not to make too much out of this. I've been down this path three times. 1 Burst appendix. 2 Colon cancer. 3 Bowel obstruction. You can't see yourself so all the tubes, etc. are invisible to you. Push the button when you hurt enough. Go home and take it easy for a while then get on with the fun. You'll have a battle scar that will scare you but it heals up nicely. All the best and lots of prayers for a speedy recovery.

Damn. Mine was a few years ago doing 135 in Montana. The fine was $40. Hardly worth the effort.

Prayers gladly accepted, life has stretched my faith a bit lately, I need some others to take up the slack...

Wow, three biggies, and one the big C no less.

Hope all is well now for you and thanks for the prayers.

Hey H1 did they give you an option of paying the fine or Community Service
Must not be to many good looking Cougars with wide bodies in Big Red country if you paid the fine.....just saying..

I told this today to one of my vendors and I had to explain it to him....

My buddy and I started laughing so hard we were crying.

I ponder -- If God always told us which road we would take on our Journey, would it make the Journey less or better?

Serenity Prayer...maybe a bit pragmatic, but what do we know?

"God, grant me the courage to change the things I can,
The Serenity to accept the things I can not change,
And wisdom to know the difference.”

When you have your health and/or spirit the world is a better place it seems. Best of both to all of you in the future.

Maybe a metaphor ...
