here's something for you GS'ers to sit and ponder for a spell...........
How Baser Logic and Politics Work!
I told my son, "you will marry the girl I choose."
He said, "no."
I told him, "she is Bill Gates' daughter."
He said, "yes."
I called Bill Gates and said, "I want your daughter to marry my son."
Bill Gates said, "no."
I told Bill Gates, "my son is the CEO of the world bank."
Bill Gates said, "ok."
I called the president of world bank and asked him to make my son the CEO.
He said, "no."
I told him, "my son is Bill Gates' son-in-law."
He said, "ok."
And that's exactly how Baser Logic and Politics works.

Get well quickly Teebee and all the others here that are having health problems. Anyone hear from Hoxxy lately. Seems he wasn't feeling to well awhile back?? Hope he's feeling better too.
Great music guys. I can see why H1 likes Radar Love...
Wife got me to go to the 50 Years of Motown when it was in town just a couple weeks ago. Great show and some darn good singers they have for the show. If you have a chance to go do it...
H1, I was talking to a friend that went to a Big Red home game awhile back. He said the biggest problem was traffic control around the local Liquor Store before the game. Quite a party at the Game too,,,, Said it was amazing...Party.
Bet it will be twice as bad this year with the new coach..

Ya CME..... we have so little to party for when corn is selling for 3.50 a bushel so a home football game really gets folks going..... here is a hint to how the next season is going to go........the spring game which is a scrimmage between the offense and defense is sold out.......that is 90K plus tickets and folks are scalping tickets for the game..... Me and Huskerboy are going......we will be in our regular seats.... it's crazy and long overdue.....
All the sports are doing well right now....... and we have a hell of an AD.......he fits in here like a Grand Sport in the winners circle....... perfect......
I am looking at putting brakes on baby for the first time....... 62K miles and I could still go another season but am starting to feel bad about it....... do you guys put on new rotors when you put in pads or just if they are below minimum thickness? I was going back to OEM pads because they have lasted so long....... I'm not concerned with brake dust it washes off....
So the local Chevy Steelership quoted $398 bucks for the front set of pads and $386 for the rears..... I just stared at him..... $120 bucks each for a new set of Rotors...... that is all OEM parts.......
I dabbled with the idea of putting on a whole new set of Wilwood brakes but that was a Grand a corner so did not consider that long....... hard to believe that my car is 9 years old when the 19's come out...... looks like it's brand new..... and looks fast just setting still.......
So what are you guys doing for brakes..... do the base cars still have drum brakes?
Freezing rain out today....... hell with it I'm going back to bed until spring.......
