An old GS'er man is having a drink in the GS'er bar. Suddenly a
gorgeous baser girl enters and sits down a few seats away. The girl is so attractive that he just can't take his eyes off her. After a short
while, the girl notices him staring, and approaches him.

Before the man has time to apologize, the girl looks him deep in the
eyes and says to him in a sultry tone: "I'll do anything you'd like.
Anything you can imagine in your wildest dreams, it doesn't matter howextreme or unusual it is, I'm game. I want $100, and there's another condition."

Completely stunned by the sudden turn of events, the man asks her what her condition is.

"You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words.

The man takes a moment to consider the offer from the beautiful woman.

He whips out his wallet and puts $100 dollars in her hand... then
looks her square in the eyes and says slowly and clearly: "Paint My
House."

Welllll...... I'm baaaack..... total blast today.... I did beat some Mustangs and I did kick the Prius's *** again this year..... I wish I could say I beat a baser car but every Corvette that was there had a blower or Turbo's....... what the hell..... after the first run where I kept hitting the rev limiter as I looked around to see how fast I was going..... wow I'm going fast.... I settled in to right around 135 MPH..... strong wind blowing from the North again knocked 3 miles per hour off last years high speed of 138.9.....

Met some steely eyed Corvette speed freaks..... 1320 was there filming and running a C5 with Twin Turbinskies..... that sucker flew.... after the first run run he did 140 and between runs they had about 3 lap tops going and the next run it did 157.....more lap tops plugged in and guys with keystrokes flying......next run 179 in the half mile...... bring that lap top over here you guys..... geez..... kinda a bunch of brainiacs they are.....

Some guy showed up in his new ZR1..... could not break 150....only made 3 runs......he seemed disappointed.....since stock Z06's were kicking his ***........ hell get them lap top guys over here....and make that $120K race car run dude......

A farmer from up around Polk was running a screaming yellow 427 Z06 and ran 146's stock..... that is not shabby at all.....

The Ford GT 40 was back this year..... and ran 202's all day long in the mile.... sumbitch is sex on wheels man...... I will post some pics of it when I get it figured out.......

The damn Prius ran 108.9 in the mile......they timed it with and hour glass....... what next someone with a Meeeaaaataaa...... Lordy.......

You can see the times for yourselves if you go to Big Blue River Shootout and click on days events...... can't wait till next year.....with my new ProCharger set up........ uh.....nevermind...........

thanks for the update H1...………

sounds like a fun filled, cool time day...………..

the speeds you posted related to the other 'Vettes were similar to what was seen at the Battle Creek Speedfest last year too...………. the new C7 Z's not anymore than the C6 gen in 1/2 milers...…….. at least not double the money worth in my opinion...………

glad you had a blast, and came back in one piece, with NO MENTION of missed shifts...………….

more about the true adventure and experience than anything else...

Well, hamsters, I made the 120 mile trek from here to Anacortes. And back.
Bad news? Traffic was fugly (took 3 1/4 hrs) and a dancing rock hit my windshield. Damn. Oh, well, it's on the passenger side...and I have yet to sit there.
Good news it was a great Corvette show on the water. Well, the cars were not "on" the water, they were "near" the water but it was advertised as...ah, hell, never mind.
Best news was I made a new friend...tomdatoolman:

One of these bozos is him and the other is me. I forget which. We had a good time swapping lies about our Corvette history and how many donuts we could eat in a sitting. But, more about that later.
Cars...black wheels? Nah, try purple...

I think this belongs to 919cw from Bellingham...

You can never have too much motor...

I loved this old girl from the late 60's...

Any day in the vette is a good day. Thanks, Tom and Laurie. Good people.
Mike, sorry you could not be there.

Then there was also this Callaway Aero Wagon at the Anacortes Show! It was done on a 2014 Z51 and looked like a simple hatch replacement to Ruxxy & I.

Thanks for the Pics you two. Guess I missed the lies about the first time you ever made love in a Corvette... Would have loved to be there just for that Ruxxy don't ya love that traffic over there. I probably could have made it there from Spokane going trough Stevens Pass in less than 5 hrs.

Any day in the vette is a good day. Thanks, Tom and Laurie. Good people.
Mike, sorry you could not be there.
If you guys are in for a good Cruise this summer, that will even take less time than Ruxxy's one to Anacortes, maybe we could meet in Wenatchee or Leavenworth sometime....almost forgot Ruxxy has a hide-out somewhere around Chelan Good time might be the show in Leavenworth. Think it's in July. Don't want to go for the Full Monti but could take in some other vettes. Might even get a few others from the West side to make it over too.

Getting close to good cruising weather so watch out all...

H1 sounds like he had a great time too. Would like to see the new Suit etc. Glad you didn't have to use the fire
extinguisher

Our club, Central Oklahoma Corvette Club had our 12 annual show yesterday. We had 168 Corvettes and raise a lot of money for charity. Here's my car.

Based on the pictures here, although not too pretty with the swirls, all of them should be able to be removed or corrected more than likely using a 2 step correction process, and then once the coating is applied should be spectacular looking, and much more durable. The coating will make cleaning a breeze to do as well.

Here's hoping that it all turns out as best as it can for you Shaolin!

When I bought my '07 black coupe it was worse than your photos, and even doing it myself and taking a lot of time after normal working hours, it came out flawless.

Please be sure to post additional pictures once it is completed, so other's can see the transformation!

Oh yeah, I could easily fix it. But my buddy charges me what it would cost to buy the ceramic stuff myself, so I just let him do it now. I'm not worried about it, it's typical swirling from sitting on a car lot and having a shop monkey wipe it down every day. Win win for both of us, he gets something he can advertise with, and I basically get free paint correction. In fact it would probably cost more if I would do it.

My FRC was actually worse and he made it look better than factory.

I know I use the phrase :jeezus, just shoot me" often, but, hey...

An off-duty FBI agent decides to busta move on the dance floor, does a back flip and his gun, tucked into the crack of his ***, comes loose and hits the floor. He makes a grab for the gun, it goes off, and shoots another patron in the leg.
I bet that happened on his last day with the FBI.
