actually that photo was sent to me by another hospital employee I know out there in MN...………………
any GS'ers willing to confess to their hospital visit...……………..
only families which could be represented by that photo all seem to reside in the "Land of Fruits and Nuts" out there on the left coast...……………..

Hey, Randy...calling Randy...how's the recovery?
Waiting to talk to the surgeons assistant right now, sounds like I'm going home tonight...
Feeling a little wore out today, not much of an appetite. This whole thing has kicked my butt...
My wonderful wife never left my side, has been with me since we checked in on Wednesday morning at 6:00am.

count your blessings that your bride was there with you too...………………… shows true love and commitment...…….
if it was me going through it, kind of know that I would have been an army of one...……………. just how it is here...……….

Oh come on Robert, I'm sure your better half would take care of you too.
We're going to have dinner here and if I'm feeling good after that, we'll be on our way. If not, one more night.

I'll take your thoughts...……………………. rest of the statement still stands though...………
a certain lack of commitment makes the single life I have and know a reality...………… just how it is...……….. someone "holding out for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow"...…………….
on a brighter note...……….. found this, but didn't want to make Randy laugh, in case it made him hurt or sore...…………………
A cranky older woman "in her senior years" was arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store.
She gave everyone a hard time, from the store manager, to the security guard, to the arresting officer who took her away.
She complained and criticized everything and everyone throughout the process.
When she appeared before the judge, the judge asked her what she had stolen from the store.
The lady defiantly replied, "Just a stupid can of peaches you old fool."
The judge then asked why she had done it.
She replied, "I was hungry and forgot to bring any cash to the store."
The judge asked how many peaches were in the can.
She replied in a nasty tone, "Nine!
But why do you care about that?"
The judge answered patiently, "Well, ma'am, because I'm going to give you nine days in jail -- one day for each peach."
As the judge was about to drop his gavel, the lady's long-suffering husband raised his hand slowly and asked if he might speak.
The judge said, "Yes sir, what do you have to add?"
The husband said meekly, "Your Honor, she also stole two cans of peas.

I have lots of healing to do, moving darn slow. Sure hope the surgeon has that colon tied together tightly, I cringe every time I have to go
Gonna take some time before I feel comfortable about all this.

Just don't pressure yourself into thinking you're 20 again. This stuff takes more than a couple days to heal for us old guys. Take it slow if it hurts. No shame to feel rough for a while. Just be happy that you got fixed before it got worse.

As much as I love talking about ********....
I had beem toying with a rally car version of something for a while. Today my buddy tells me he's abandoning his supercharged SBF RX7 and I cam have everything if I finish it, and let him drive it once. So I'll be doing a Rally Version of a 87 RX7 with a twin screw 302 and top loader.
Anyone have any ridiculous ideas for me? I'm thinking Australian Ute conversion, pushbar with a skid plate and steelies with mud tires.

Good Morning Guys, hey it's National Cookie Day!
Melting Slicks
Because this is the engine he's giving me with it. He started the project about 12 years ago, long before the swaps were as affordable as they are now. I'm a cheap **** so I'll be using the parts he's giving me.

Oh there's tons of Ute brands. The most popular being the Ford Falcon. Not only is it a PD blown Coyote engine but it's AWD as well. 90% of the taxi force in Australia uses the sedam version, pretty cool to hear the blower whine all over Sydney while they're driving around.

Randy, each day will see improvement. Don't worry about the reconnection (it's called the anastamosis) It isn't going to come apart. Since I've had two of them I'm pretty sure they do a really good job there. If they did this laproscopically you should only have a few one inch incisions to worry about and they probably glued you back together. Don't rush to get back into the everyday grind. Pace yourself and listen to your medical staff (the Mrs. too). They know what will be best for you. Very happy things went so well.
