Ducky......I ordered that from licenseplates.tv It's a steel stamped replica of a Nebraska 56 Plate. I was worried the DMV was not going to let me use a plate that was not originally issued by them but it passed without a problem....... plate was 95 bucks and a Historical car registration was another $90. its a non expiring registration though so its good forever.

Speaking of which I have your Oregon plate here and am going to get that back to you soonest......... can't wait to see your new GS....... it's going to be dope....... that's what my son would say anyway........ I would say groovy or rad or far out........ our generation had the best slang......

Went in for my usual fang cleaning and sharpening......the gal who cleans my tooth was especially rambunctious today with her bevy of torture tools...... let no plaque survive is on the wall when you walk in. Along with we don't take prisoners....... then some Harley signs, bottles of Jack D, and a chopper being built in one of the rooms...... did I mention they work cheap...... My dentist is a lady and I found out she got in a wreck on her new Street Glide with an old Lady down in Alabama. Seems the old lady turned right in front of her...... she's all dinged up and has a broken shoulder they may have to operate on...... her face got all scraped up...... did not have a full face Bell on.....just one of those bucket helmets ...... anyway she will be ok but could have been worse....... so had a stand in Doc to do my dental work today...... he looked to be about 18 years old...... course that may have been the goofy gas I took a few extra tokes of........ I feel so good right now........

Supposed to rain here soon..... my phone keeps going off telling me we are in a severe storm watch....... course the suns out and the sky is blue...... but my knees hurt this morning so I'm thinking we are going to get something.

What else is going on? Took in the majestic Grand Sport today to the dentist.....the best handling car of all time...... Working on the shop to get it ready for the onslaught of Hammyites who will be converging on Corn World..... putting in a supply of fine food and extra whiskey........ hate to run out you know...... also have some folks local who will show up to hang out with the elite in the Corvette world...... that would be us.......

Rained here all day...…………… dark and gloomy although it let up now...…………… putting on a big family party on Saturday...……. rented a pavilion at a local metro park near me...……… now I need to head out and pick up some beef for the grille

Even with a trip to the dentist, H1 is having a better day than Mr. & Mrs. Ducky. Started our day by dropping off the 2010 Grand Sport for consignment. A friend owns a high-end business selling streetrods, classics, exotics and, of course, Corvettes.... but only Grand Sport Corvettes.... he has a reputation to uphold. So I had to leave my pride & joy to be sold... that hurts.

So we go home and I begin painting the kitchen. It's lunch time and the kitchen is torn up, so my wife says, "I'll just run to McDonald's and get something quick." A half-hour later she gets home with no food... as she was pulling into the drive-thru, some _______________ in a Prius (!) backed out of a spot right into both passenger side doors and the rear wheel of her "new" 2017 Cadillac XT5.

Prius-boy is probably lucky I was home painting........................

Geez Ducky......that's a bummer....glad the Mrs. is ok...... the rest will fix.....they had to total the Prius I'm thinking...... that's to bad, he was probably texting..... idiot kids....... we were just crazy kids....not idiots....... right?

rained last night but nice now.....supposed to get to 41 degrees tonight and temps in the 70's all week. the beginning of the fall weather....

here in Michigan, similar conditions to those mentioned by H1 for the next 10 days........................ I am not complaining, will be good to get rid of the heat and humidity.......

That’s right, it’s been 329 days since Nebraska has won a football game (Oct. 28, 2017 against Purdue).

Michigan will look to extend that streak at least another week Saturday at the Big House in the conference opener.
