So I've been ******* with the sequential shifter for the RX7 for weeks trying to get it to work when I realized I have a different top loader than I have ever seen. The case and tail housing come back as a 1964 289 Mustang transmission but was rebuilt with a 28sp output shaft like the rest instead of a 25sp. So the tail shaft mount is 2" further back. So I shop monkey designed a new mount to try to get everything lined up right

So.....wifeys brakes were squealing and with her car approaching 45k miles, I figured it was time for brakes.
Dropped off her car this morning on our way to my stress test (doc ordered one, getting old sucks ) By the time we got home there was a message on the phone, said they were done. Brakes fine , still 70% there. Deglazed rotors, cleaned up calipers and lubed slides. Invoice only came to $70, pleasantly surprised it was that cheap.

Brake shops around here would have hit you for 4 calipers, 4 rotors and a fluid flush all for the low, low price of $849. Fn b@$terds. Brake shops and transmission shops have the worst reputations around here.
I know, hard to believe isn't it. I would have expected at least on hours worth of labor and wouldn't have blinked an eye if the bill would have at least been $150.
Go's to show, not all dealers are crooks. I have had good luck at both my nearby Ford and Chevy dealer.

Which incision? I have 5 or 6 small ones. Arthroscopic surgery is great...so they say. My belly looks like (after three of these) I was in a gun fight with a machine gun. And I scar badly, so they don’t go away.
It is amazing what they can do in the confines of such small incisions.

My hernia surgery ('90) left me with two slices over 2" and 5 days to be able to walk normally. However, with the magic of robotics, my '12 prostate was removed with 6 tiny (no stiches) holes and I was walking with no issues in just hours.

I thought it was number 6, right behind the Butterfinger food group, but I've been wrong about a lotta stuff. At least that's what the ex's have said. ........ Wait, I mean all the wives, .... 'er all women.... and a bunch of men too.

However that's the old part that doesn't fit, I'll cut a new one as soon as I get some steel stock.

Wow, I wondered how you recovered so quickly. Glad to hear that worked so well for you.
