kind of wondering if that is what folks in NE and OK would describe as a "jewel" barn find...……….

probably sittin' in some old decrepit barn out there when it was discovered and plated in CA...………….

seeing how it was plated in the "Land of Fruits and Nuts" out there on the left coast kind of fits the bill too...………

may have been better off hopin' the barn was struck by lightning or would have burned to the ground...…….

although the wagon look would be appealing to those who seem to like wide rears...……….

I'm going out on a limb and Bet that was H1's ride when he was in Montana and he did most of the Improvements on it before he sold it to some real GS'er fanatic... Edit: that's Fanatic not "Fantasy" as in Bucket-List!! Knowing H1 the back end was purpose built for the Girls...they could try and run but they couldn't hide Probably put an A6 in it too so he could shift 'em faster.....just saying

Hey hey now......prune juice always gets such a bad rap.... a standard drink in the Barca lounge is a shot of Irish, dash of Prune juice and a bit of Branch water...... don't see no GS'ers with the constipation blues ...... no no no......

while you may be attending church services today it may be time to say a prayer or pay some respects to those who gave their all so the rest of us could enjoy our freedom...............

So the return trip from Hawaii has turned into a nightmare. We were supposed to be home yesterday around 7:30. We are currently sitting in O'Hare waiting on yet another 3 hour delayed flight. It looks like we won't get home before 1 am at the earliest.

In case you were wondering, United Airlines SUCKS!!!!! Rant over, I guess. 😵

Be safe in your travels BadAV………………….
I am pretty certain weather has caused some of the issues...……….. and then the typical airlines "overbooking" doesn't help...……….

We finally made it home. I could stomach weather issues; these were all 100% airline issues. They allowed 7 United employees onto the plane out of Honolulu, which put the plane overweight by 1000 pounds. Delayed departure 1.5 hours, which made us miss our 1st connecting flight. We got on another plane in San Francisco that had been delayed 3 hours due to equipment issues. That put us in Denver after all flights to St. Louis were done for the day. Took us 3 hours at the airport to get rooms, vouchers, and somewhat acceptable connecting flights for today.

This morning's flight to O'Hare was delayed about 30 minutes due to yet another equipment issue. The flight from O'Hare to St. Louis was coming from Roanoke. It had been delayed by, you guessed it, an equipment issue. We ended up on 3 different flights; the other 2 groups were delayed by weather and equipment issues.

The guys wanted to rent a van in Denver and just drive the 11 hours home but the ladies would have none of it. I suspect they wish we had done it now. We survived, and the trials and tribulations will soon be forgotten.

NEVER again will I book United Airlines.

Hey guys, still in KC. Hope everyone here had a good Memorial Day. I’m in the middle of a bedroom closet remodel (expansion), on GD room. It was hotter than H yesterday. So got an early start this morning. Getting ready to do some electrical work.

to the plumbing crap... no plumbing on this project, thank God. Some electrical and regular framing things.

I got the floor joists installed sub-floor put down the electrical done the wall put up, wall and floor insulation installed but ran short of ceiling insulation. We were going to Lowe’s to pickup the sheet rock, so picked up another bundle of R30 to put in before we put the sheet rock up.

Right now I feel like I’m ahead of the game....at least ahead of where I thought I would be. Tomorrow insulation, sheet rock, taping and muddling.

The original closet was, roughly, 2’ deep and 5’ wide after the expansion it will be 7’ deep and 6’ 8” wide.
