I feel like that Johnny Cash song One Piece at a Time. Got the front fascia and drivers side done today.......just in time for the rain.
Maybe if I drive fast enough nothing will stick to the slick paint.

this is for the Naval brother's who may also drive Corvettes......................
A young New York City woman was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the Hudson River.
Just before she could throw herself from the bridge, a handsome young man stopped her.
"You have so much to live for," said the man.
"I'm a sailor, and we are off to Italy tomorrow. I can stow you away on my ship. I'll take care of you, bring you food every day and keep you happy."
With nothing to lose, combined with the fact that she had always wanted to go to Italy, the woman accepted.
That night the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a small but comfortable compartment in the hold.
From then on, every night he would bring her three sandwiches, a bottle of red wine and make love to her until dawn.
Two weeks later she was discovered by the captain during a routine inspection.
"What are you doing here?" asked the captain.
"I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she replied. "He brings me food and I get a free trip to Italy."
"I see," the captain said.
Her conscience got the better of her and she added, "Plus, he's screwing me."
"He certainly is," replied the captain.
"This is the Staten Island Ferry."

So there is a large ball of light in the sky today....someone said it was something called the sun.... Been a cold, dark, wet, month up here....
Have the week after next off for a little rest and relaxation...celebrating 32 years of wedded bliss that week Thinking Mrs R deserves a medal for putting up with me that long... ...Told her I was having Vette urges in the form of a white convertible, she said start looking for one....I don't need that kind of encouragement...
I wouldn't break tradition....narrow body would be just fine...

the few who thought about updating one day all mentioned the Sting Ray as the best model to get for cruising around...………….
a few also mentioned that the C6 topless wide-bodies would more than likely meet their needs for years to come yet...………….
congrats. on the anniversary...……………….. here's too many more...…………..

Congrats big R.....on wedded bliss..... and a good woman too......you got the green light so you better go for it......a white C7 would be real fun.....
Well 1-3" of snow tonight maybe and then its looks like an extended forecast of sunshine......so the work will commence..... lets get it done before the big snowballs hit..... hopefully get to take out the GS for some fall runs. Hope I don't get a ticket for blinding other drivers because its so shiny ....... that could happen.....
Got a list from the Mrs. so better get to it....... more later from the center of all things normal........

uploaded the pictures from the Nebraska trip to Google and sent a link to them to the regular crew...................
think that I need to add teebee and H1 to the list though, and that will have to be later tonight sometime...................
dropped off Ms. 427 late yesterday afternoon so she could make a trip to Mackinac Island with her sisters for a Pub Crawl event there.............
needing to play catch-up with real world computer work today, so timing of her being gone isn't a bad thing...........
seeing that Ruxxy and I stayed in Lincoln for a few days this past week, and the Husker Stadium was there.............. we both did our best to ensure H1 that there would not be another Husker loss there this week...........
then we remembered the Huskers are on the road at Northwestern.................
so all bets related to a Husker loss are off.....................
