Default Maximizer/obx headers with resonators?

So looking for a nice cheap header/x-pipe combo. Came across the maximizer header/x-pipe combo on fleebay. Anyone running these headers? They come with "resonators" instead of cats. So should flow a little better, but also don't want the car to be to loud. The car has a flowmaster catback right now and is a tiny bit to quiet IMO. So my questions...

1. Are these pretty easy to install?

2. Is $700 shipped a good price for these stainless 1-7/8 headers?

3. If your running these how do you like them? And have you had any problems with them during or after install?

4. Do the resonators keep the exhaust still somewhat quiet?

Do you happen to have any sound clips? Is there any drone inside the car?

Also likr mentioned above if you have OBX please chime in as they are the same exhaust systems.

Thanks for the vids! I forgot to ask you. How was the fitment on your obx headers and x-pipe? Any troubles on the install? You also got the version with resonators instead of cats correct?

Go with the system that has the high flow cats!!!!!
The power lose from the high flow cats is only around 3HP, and the car will not stink of unburnt fuel at every stop light.

Also, you really, really need to learn what header header scavenging is, and how it increases HP.

So what resonator's are, are really just cat delete cans so the manufacturer does not have to make another X pipe when he sells the kit without high flow cats instead.

I guess I'm leaning towards the high flow cats... Don't want the car to be to loud

OEM cats quiet the system down a great deal in themselves.

High flow cats in line, very, very little sound reduction from them instead.

So on that note, install the headers with High flow cats, and leave the OEM mufflers in place. The stock mufflers will be louder with the headers and High flow cats over all (more sound from the engine bay as well)

If and them if you want the car even louder, then you can get into either the after market sport type, or the much louder extreme type straight pass through mufflers instead.

I already have slow masters, but they are pretty quiet. Hoping the headers and high flow cats give it a little more sound but not too much. Just don't want drone inside the car.

You think the Flow Masters are to Quiet? I hated them on my car, the drone was awful. Adding the headers, and yes i would use the High flow cats, wont make the exhaust any louder, but the tone will sound a little bit "tinnier" thanks to the headers not being able to dampen that sound like the cast iron manifolds do. Good luck.

Texas Speed has a 1 7/8 with X package (no cats) for $759. I have this setup with Corsa Xtremes.

Pretty sure I'll have to have high-flow cats I would think it would get pretty loud in the car with straight through x-pipe

They're must be two types because me and my dad have identical setup and his flowmasters are louder than mine...
