I didn't buy mine from WCC since I didn't want another logo on my car, but I did buy the accordian style. Folded up in the bag it fits neatly behind my driver's seat. If you don't have anything behind the passenger seat, that would also be a good spot. Therefore, you could still be seated to access the shade and then install it.

I have the accordion style one. It came with the car when I bought it. It is a quality item and heavy duty. It fits the windshield perfectly. Worth the $ in my opinion.

I used an accordion style for a year, did not like it at all. Now use an oval spring style. http://i5.walmartimages.com/dfw/dce0...80227ab.v1.jpg

Love these. They take almost no space when folded, and if out taking photos can be used as an inexpensive shade or reflector.

I have a two-piece set that I bought from either Target or Wally World. Cost about $20. They squarish light fabric with rounded corners and have a springy wire around the edges. Silver on one side to reflect heat in the summer, black on the other to absorb heat in the winter. And they fold into about a 10" circle that I store in the crack between the passenger seat and console. They work great. I find them easier to maneuver than the one piece cardboard ones.

Edit: We posted at the same time. What I have is what Cartop2 just posted.

I googled shades for the vette when I bought one. It came from eBay. Guaranteed to fit perfectly. And it does. It's a multilayer unit. BUT it rolls up and its a hassle to use. I end up rarely using it. I have been considering the flat springy kind as posted above.

I have the Covercraft UVS 100 and, although it's not cheap, it is very well made and works like a champ. I keep it behind the passenger seat.

I bought one from Heat Shield. It's high quality and fits better than any shield I've had for any other vehicle, and it was not expensive.

What size did you get and how well does it fit the corvette windshield? I prefer that style!

Have used the dual 'spring' type for years in my corvette & other vehicles, work great and store easily. Bought the accordion type for the Camaro and, although it fits well, storage was a pain, so it's been replaced.

I have the non-accordion style. Works fine, perfect fit. Great buy for $20 I say.

I'd like to know too. I need one for my Vette since it's sunny most of the year in Cali.
