Default 427, re. fender anniversary emblem

Most cars do not have the anniversary emblem on the fender. I understand the white anniversary package cars having this emblem but don't see in the order forms or option packages what may differentiate the random car having this badge. Perhaps dealer or owner has added them. They show on early and late vins. Anyone have an idea what determines this.
Thanks,
Bill

Individual owner purchased and applied on all non-collector edition 2013 models. All 2013 corvettes are 60th 'anniversary edition' cars.(1953-2013) These fender badges can be purchased from your local Chevrolet Dealer.

Thanks guys! I'm not looking to purchase the emblems just trying to figure out what is correct for an original car.
Sorry if this read is confusing.
From what I can tell (limited knowledge) all 2013 427's are considered Collector Edition and in general 60th Anniversary cars. And the 60th Anniversary Edition cars are the white with blue package. Most all the white cars out there being 60th Anniversary Edition, they have the badge. Confusion comes with the random badge on non white cars.
For example on the car pictured above, I have the dealer print out. It shows 1SB, Heritage package and crossed flag embroidery on headrest, but no mention of collector edition or 60th Anniversary edition. There are a few other non white cars on the market with these badges.
So the assumption would be, over the counter add-ons on non 60th Anniversary Edition cars?
Thanks again,
Bill

Bill, I have a 2013 Torch Red 427 Convertible.

The 2013 Dealer Brochure indicates the "60th Anniversary Design Package" was available as an option on all 2013 model corvettes. This design package included Artic White paint, specific exterior and interior badging, including the front fender badges you are talking about, as well as sueded microfiber -wrapped steering wheel and shifter, blue custom stitching Blue Diamond interior color, gray custom brake calipers and ZR1 rear spoiler.

A "Graphics Package for 60th Anniversary Design Package" was offered as an addition option for those who purchased the "60th Anniversary Design Package". This graphics package included full length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue and a convertible top graced with stitched stripes.

My Torch Red 427 Convertible did not come with the 60th front fender badges, but it has them now, because I purchased and installed them, like a number of other 427 owners have done.

Cars like mine came with them on as part of the package. All others had to be bought aftermarket. They look good though.

Thank You! Understood, and they do look good. Put a deposit on a black/black one this morning (no emblem). Looking forward to the experience.
Thanks again to all for the help.

If you could get a picture? I haven't seen one on a GS from the factory.

Just wondering where they placed it, with the different design GS fenders.

I'm happy to finally read a full explanation to this. Thank you. I have the side badges, and could not figure out from the build sheet or window sticker why I did. I'm the 2nd owner, I bought it in May.

I put them on mine because I bought the car for my 60th birthday present to myself. I think they look great and if somebody in the future doesn't like them they just peel off.

Yes, I know this is a 5 year old post but I just happened to come across these 60th Anniversary Fender Emblems on Cultrag's ebay site. One of the posters above says he has a GS with the badges but mine does not have them despite my build sheet having the Z25 60th Anv App Pkg and the Z30 60th Anv Stripes. I don't even know exactly where these would go since the GS already has fender badges & gills. Anybody have a pic of these on a GS?
