So I picked up a pair of wing emblems...
So I picked up a pair of wing emblems... from Performance Corvettes.
I ordered one for the rear and one for the front. Both arrived:
One dressed in:
and the other wrapped in this:
Both emblems were perfectly fine, and 100% flat.
The one on the rear of the car fits perfectly. The one on the front, which is a fully flat based emblem, fits like this, with a gap. No amount of pressure will afix this emblem to this curved surface.
Does this seem appropriate to you all?
Thanks

Are you sure you put them on the right fascia? The emblems are different. That looks like one for the rear.

Yes, even though they look alike I pretty sure they are 2 different part numbers. Maybe you got 2 of the same part? Installed wrong one on rear? Possibly warped some?
In any case that is not an acceptable fit on the front.

The one you show is actually for the rear facia not the front. The rear emblem is frequently used to mount on flat surfaces like a battery box cover or a fuse box cover. They are two different part numbers and not interchangeable. Return it and be specific that you need the one for the front facia.

Ummm...NO!!! The front should have a slight downward curve to match the body. Looks like you got two rears. In fact the rear has a slight curve the opposite direction (upwards). If you look, you can see it curves up. Time to return it...sigh, unless you reversed them. Check your rear from the side to make sure it's not bowed up. If so you reversed them.

Ok, you all were right, thank you.
To make a long story short, I took my wife outside, she has eyes like an eagle, and she says to me, "Hey, these look like they need to be switched!"
So I switch them, and perfect...
She then says, "I'm taking you back to your eye surgeon, she put in a ****** lens replacement last year!"
