Default No options available

I was trying to do some personalizing my 2012 Grand Sport and when I push the Options button it reads "no options available" what gives?

It means only the first 2 fobs that were programmed to the car can access the options menu. The second 2 cannot. You must be using number 3 or 4.

The fob that you used when turning on the car is programmed as #3 or #4. Options are only available on #1 and #2.

I doubled with EV...I agree with him.

You need to check the operation of the glovebox slot and then use the long procedure to re-program the fobs...a 30 minute job. Read these instructions fully before getting started:

Use the "long procedure" to erase all fobs and reprogram the 2 you have as #1 & #2. Make sure the batteries in each are fresh.

Using the long procedure to reprogram your fobs also deletes all other fobs that you don't have. Those old fobs somewhere can no longer start your car.

Those instructions will tell you where the fobs need to be.

Clive, the fob that reads no fob detected will crank the car in the glove box slot but when removed it still won't work,I tried to reprogram the short route but at step 6 the DIC does not respond. Can you help, note this FOB had a battery installed last year. It worked fine for several months then one day it would not unlock door and DIC ....No fob detected.

If the car starts when that fob is in the glove box slot then it does not need to be reprogrammed. I would change the battery again. You don't know how old a "new" battery is when you put it in. Make sure the contacts that surround the battery are good and the battery doesn't move around at all when its installed.

Rose, you were right, the battery was bad,I put in a new one tried the door locks and it worked ,it cranked right up ,can't thank you enough.lesson learned just because a battery was changed less than a year ago don't mean it's good,I do have a question should the board be loose in the FOB?

Your welcome! I don't know about the board being loose since my fob is the older 05-07 version. I've never seen the guts of the newer one.

I changed the batteries in both my fobs a couple months ago, and both boards were loose. So I assume it's normal for them to be that way.
