Lisa I have had both ebony and black Lloyds mats in my cashmere interior. Ebony is a better match to the dash and door trim.
Unfortunately on my last set they sent black. Looks ok but does not blend as well.

Had some pics but did not get them uploaded before my laptop crashed.

Thanks for the info. I have only seen them advertised as "ebony". I didn't know that they hVe ebony and a true black. That puts another hitch in things

Yes ebony is a little bit grey compared to the black which are jet black.

I will have to watch it then. I just looked on several vendors sites and so far just see Ebony. I don't want the true black for sure. Ebony is what I have seen advertised and what I am thinking of getting. Just think the cashmere mats will show dirt to much. Mine is a DD but I still want some nice mats in it.

Sorry... no pics but I have the Lloyds Ultimats in ebony in my 2013 Grand Sport with cashmere interior. Looks great as in pics in the thread referenced.

Had the oem cashmere mats in it but they definitely were low quality and hard to keep looking new. The Lloyds are far superior in looks and coverage.

As everybody else has said, ebony is a better match for the cashmere interior.

I'm on my second set of ebony mats, but the first set was custom done with both the crossed flags and black Corvette script, which looked great because it echoed the dash script.

Just for giggles, I put the black mats from my Z06 in the Vert one time, and it looked way too black.

I have the Lloyds rubbertite black mats and love them. They look great and protect great. I also have a custom set of cashmere mats for car shows but the last show I just left the black ones in. I do have a cashmere interior.

I will look for some pics.

A tip: If you have an early '07 and back with the cashmere hold-down posts, they look a bit odd contrasting with black mats.

I just went over them with a black Magic Marker. Looks much better.

I'm far from an interior decorator, but I think that combination would look great. Plus, the black/ebony is so much easier to (give the appearance of) clean than lighter colored ones.

I still have the original black/ebony ones in mine, ebony interior, and they still look fine.

Not a Vette, but in my 03 Grand Prix I have black mats with the Taupe (Tan) interior and they look great. The contrast works well, and does tie in the dash/steering wheel which is black as well.

O…. K….. I guess I need to vacuum it first, though.

And steam the cashmere carpet…

Do not mean this in a nasty way, but just do a search, because this has already been asked and discussed here before with lots of excellent pictures posted

We have a cashmere interior and black mats in our BMW and love it. Our Corvette is an all black interior. Good luck.

As long as it's an extreme closeup and you can't tell what the car is.
