Pioneer NEX, Clarion speakers, its bad, very bad
Custom enclosure, amp and bass... If I ever have a heart attack jjust turn up the radio and the bass kicks me in the back like a defibilator.

I replaced the door speakers with 10" subs, removed the center speaker and added a small 240 watt amp for the subs. Sounds pretty good to me but your setup should depend on the type of music you will be listening to.

I too put Kenwood 10" subs in the doors... Overkill - Then I had to loose passenger leg room when I put Kenwood AMP behind the seat to push the subs.
Don't drill behind the seats. Cut a piece of MDF and glue it to the plastic body under the carpet. Then Cut the foam from the carpet the shape of the MDF. Mount the AMP to the carpet on top of the MDF
Mine is all Kenwood.
All of the 3.5 were replaced.
Behind the seat these will fit in the 5.25 hole. Kenwood KFC-1654S 6-1/2 inch. 2-Way Sport Series
What a difference from the back of the car.
I can't lose valuable trunk space so I had to leave everything stock looking.
I work from my car and haul stuff.
