Default Drove my 2013 GS Vert in a Homecoming Parade

A couple of weeks ago, an employee at the local Chevy dealership called me and asked, "Are any of your Corvettes not show cars?" I replied, "No, they're all essentially show cars. Why do you ask?" She continued, "Well, there is a young lady who has had some difficulty in life and needs someone to drive her in a homecoming parade." Of course, I told her that I would be more than happy to drive this young lady in the parade. Well, the parade was Friday and the young lady and her escort were so excited when they saw my Corvette. She couldn't stop thanking me...but I was the one that needed to thank her. I've won a lot of show trophies with my Corvettes, but I feel so much more rewarded when I'm able to do things like this. I want to encourage everyone to take advantage of opportunities like these. There's nothing quite like it!

To extend yourself and your car beyond usual limits can be a very good thing. This one certainly was for everyone. I hope it makes a difference in both their lives and serves as a reward.

You're a good man Jeremy, that little girl will always remember that day, and the man that gave it to her.
