Take your choice of re-using your stock ****, or one of our HINSON logo shift *****. All offer a complete finished look and attach the boot to the shifter handle.

Expect a order very soon. Went to your web site and there is like three different versions of the short throw for the C6 and one is priced higher then the other but look the same what is the difference in them?

Thanks, Clint

Ok can you explain some of the negatives of your design?

I am guessing since the throw is shorter, it requires more effort to shift? And since there are no springs, the shifter will not tend to return to center if taken out of gear?

One more question, does it rattle like the MGW?

Read and look closer at the options on the website. There are several options for with or without shif *****, which also explains the variance in price.

There are no negatives to the design, which is why we designed it the way we did. our mechanism is unique in the sense that it doesn't rely on springs of any kind. The throws are very short, as you can see in the video. It does require a little extra effort, more at first until the shifter is broke in, but not what I or many others would consider a lot. The shifter does center like any other shifter, because it works on a pre-loaded stub design. I cannot speak to the MGW rattling, but ours does not. Chances are if it rattles it's not the shifter. It's some kind of harmonics being transferred through the torque tube from the transmission.

Seriously considering this as a X-Mas gift then. The only thing that held me back on the MGW was the rattling/vibration everyone complained about.
