Has anybody ever thought of using bondo to cover those ugly gills on the front fender for the Grand Sport? Fill it in and make it look like a Z06 instead. Anybody ever do this?

The Gills are what makes the GS the best looking C6 ever.
I understand the variations in taste. I owned a C2 and liked the 63 and 64 horizontal gills, did not like the 65 or 66 verticals, but loved the 67 vertical gills/slats. I like the GS gills, but have never liked the fender stripes.

No need. A bit of drywall and setting compound is what I used. I actually followed up with flower wallpaper to make the Z06 owners super jealous.
