I placed an order for Kooks headers on 9/10 from a forum vendor and they have not shipped. Does Kooks make the headers to order? How long did it take you guys to get your order?

Took about six weeks to get mine if you're hinting about a company in Maryland. Mine were ceramic coated if that explains anything.

The same unknown company from the NE USA has had my money seven weeks.
Am given to understand X pipe has shipped to coater.
No idea on Headers and shipped to coater now will mean 2-3 weeks more. What with shipping to coater ,coating, shipping to me.
Not a happy camper but what else to do!!!!!

I think the company in Maryland is just hesitant to sit on too much inventory. I suspect Kooks builds to order then mails it to Maryland. Then they in turn mail it to the ceramic coaters who then mail the finished product to me.

I ordered BB Fusions as well and those were shipped to me direct from Billy Boat after they were made which was about two weeks after my headers so all in all, my order took two months to complete.

To be fair, the company in Maryland was very pleasant to deal with, even open to haggling and they did give me a heads up on the lead time so I wasn't surprised. Once the UPS truck pulls up and you open those big boxes of goodness, it all feels worth the wait.

I bought mine from the company in MD. I didn't get mine coated so maybe mine will arrive a little sooner. So far the company has been nice to deal with, and they did give me a 2-3 week time frame but also mentioned it can take longer. My status went to "Kooks for processing" on the 11th which is what made me think that Kooks builds headers to order.

My LG's came from that area also and took a while, all I can say is with all my mods, it took longer than it was supposed to. Once I received the items though it was worth the wait.

Buddy ordered ceramic coated kooks headers for his G8 GT from a company in Maryland.

Said 4-6 weeks wait due to coaying. I think its been 3 weeks already.

I ordered my ceramic JBA headers and x-pipe from them last summer. They shipped the next day.

Kooks is based in my town and they are holding an event this Saturday so that too may add in waiting period.

I actually got my headers i believe in about 3 weeks exact.

Got it coated also from marylandspeed. It actually came the DAY BEFORE i made the appointment to bring the car to the shop that was installing the headers. It all worked out perfectly.

I got mine in about 6 weeks. Adding the ceramic coating increased the wait time by a couple of weeks. Worth the wait.

I ordered 2 sets of kooks from Maryland and got them in less then 2 weeks, no coating on either, but ordered a Borla exhaust system from same company and had nothing but issues. Got nothing but run around a for over a month, when I called to cancel they gave me money off and promised something they never followed through with but I did get the exhaust 3 days later lol.
