Default Check brake fluid warning

Recently a message in the DIC displayed check brake fluid along with service traction control and active handling. After a couple of minutes the check brake fluid message would go away, but the service traction control and active handling would remain. I checked the brake fluid level and it's fine. Any ideas as to what else I can do? Thanks

Those are the kind of messages that show up when the battery is dying. Have it load tested or, if is truly an '09 battery, buy a new battery.
