People vandalizing your Corvette
I have been driving mine for a week now and i love it. Its the best vehicle i have ever drove. Today this ***** decides to park his truck right next to my car in a huge parking lot....he oarked soo close on purpose in order to make it difficult for me to get into my car. In not sure why? I didnt see any scratches or marks on my car. Any other experiences from anybody here?

I don't think that's vandalism, that is just the gregarious instinct at work.
I can't even count the number of times I've come out and found someone parked next to me, even though I am in the literally last spot in the parking lot.
I have plenty more pictures.

sammy, that isn't vandalism, but I understand your concern. However....most of the time when someone parks very close to you, it is because YOU parked improperly. After you have parked, most people will make an effort to not crowd you, or themselves.
if you had a pic, we could understand your concern more clearly, I am sure.

There are a lot of people that I notice don't have the ability to drive large trucks in everyday life. They park too close because they have no idea how big their truck is.

Haven't had a vandalism problem with any of the 7 Vettes I've owned, but my first one, a '67 Vert, was stolen and found stripped about 35 miles away.
I don't park my C6 way out in the boondocks when I go to the different stores, but I do park a parking place or two beyond the vehicle that's parked the farthest from the store.

Strange phenomenon...
I have had the same thing happen many times, park away from the cars in a parking lot, then come out of a store and there is a car parked right next to my car. Sometimes they are nice shiny cars and sometimes they are rusted junkers but I have never had a scratch or booger on my car from them. Strange phenomenon but pretty common.

I usually take the last spot in line (next to an Island, curb, shrubs, something) and TRY to park next to someone who is already there on the other side, this way I control the situation. I park real close to the end (curb side) and have plenty of space between my door and the car I park next to. Probably way too much thinking I know...

In this case both vehicles are parked legally (backing into a space isn't legal everywhere though), but the parking spots are way too narrow. Blame the business for that.

With store cameras so prevalent on the parking lots now days, they would have to be extremely stupid to do anything to your car..I have seen what your talking about happen, but never had it happen to me...The fact is, there are idiots in this world that like being ignorant anytime they can, this guy saw an opportunity to be ignorant and jumped on the chance....I'm sure there's a bit of jealousy mixed into his actions also..The way some peoples minds work just amazes me..WW

Safety Car
knock on wood I've daily driven my only vehicle (a 2008, now a 2011) for over 15k miles a year, I park it in any open spot, and I've never even had a door ding.
I don't take two parking spots, I believe that is asking for trouble, I just park it like I would any other car.
You should be fine too
