Default 3000 Horsepower Corvette Needs Wings

At last year’s Texas Invitational, this heavily modified C6 Corvette with twin 88mm turbos, nitrous, and a ton of other aftermarket parts, decided that it no longer wanted to be a car, but rather a bird.

The man on the right is the owner of the car. He is a member of the car club I hang out with. He will have the car repaired and back trying again. The man owns nothing that is slow or stock.

Great place for a top speed run, a runway that ends at water.

Hope the drag chute was mounted to something more substantial then the facia.

Yep, too much HP/not enough down forces to put it down to the ground to use instead.

Watch the video and ever time the car gets into boost, the back end is just breaking free time and time again.

That's what I was thinking. What a hot mess. Looks like a lot of expensive stuff torn up on that run.
Big boy driver didn't provide enough ballast.

Sweet turbos, what did you do the to brakes... Their stock... (disclaimer: I can see what appears to be a stock caliper in the vid)
