The color name, Datona Sunset Orange Metalic.

I like these from Bob's House of Wheels. Have them on my AW 07.

Had the split spokes in gloss black first.

You should be able to find those five spoke starwheels pretty cheap there's a lot of guys that have taken those off their cars. Here's what they look like blacked out.

Here's 2 more for consideration. They're a little above my max budget at $625 but I may be able to stretch it a little. Gunmetal or Satin black.

Mike, My vote is for the gunmetal. That was the color I was considering.
I always feel like if you set a budget and then settle for something within that budget and something outside the budget is what you really like then you will always say "What if". Get what you want and makes you happy. You are the one who has to live with it.

I think the gunmetal would look great.

Go with the silver, the black really makes the DSOM look bland. DSOM is a beautiful color, chrome would really make the car, but if you have a budget you need to stick within, go with the silver, or wait and see if you can get someone's factory polished or chrome 5 spokes used? Black is not the color for DSOM in my opinion.

Those are what I really wanted but I didn't want to spend the extra money on them.

To the OP, here are a couple bad pics of mine. They iphone pics in my garage, its like 7 degrees so I did not really care about getting the best shots.

First one is directly back, the edge of the wheels is flush with the quarter panel. The next is with a little more angle.

I think if you go with a wider tire you may run into issues if you are lowered. I have not hit anything on mine and I have a fairly large curb on my driveway.

I agree. Had comp gray stock wheels on my DSOM and loved the look.

I like polished also. Hate chrome and black. It's all personal taste...

Just what is the definition of "BLING"....as it is applied here ??

Flashy, shiny, ya know same as it has always meant.

To me orange is already a color that stands out, I don't really need or want a wheel that is equally or more flashy.

I know what ya mean... There's an orange Grand Sport in town I see occasionally with chrome wheels... Even my wife commented they don't go together...

I'm beginning to think that pretty much ANY color is going to look good on DSOM! I'm going to rule out chrome, mostly due to cost and I think the flashiness might take away from the body color. Just too much! As far as black goes, I've always preferred black wheels but it might take away from the overall glow of the car, IDK! I'm still liking the Starfish and really like the Gunmetal C7 Z06 style (probably a bitch to clean though). I'm trying to find pics of DSOM with these wheels but coming up blank. Please keep the pics and suggestions coming! I really appreciate all the input and opinions! It helps me visualize and think out loud!

Go black wheels... Then vinyl wrap roof and halo black, really brings out the body lines...
