I feel like Corvettes have a magnet in them...
Because I can't get away from them... No matter how hard I try to change cars I just keep getting sucked back to them...
had a c6z sold it for an m3, then bought a c5z, then bought a c7. sold the c5z after having the c7 for a few months, got a f-body camaro SS , sold the c7 for a Silverado.
Was pretty set on getting an m5/m6 bmw or 991 carerra but suddenly am getting the urge to grab a c6 non z06 in stick this spring/summer as a "nice weather daily/toy" They are truly just the best bang for your buck. I just feel like I keep repeating myself but there so much fun. If I do get one I figure I will do bolt-ons and maybe heads/cam since im saving so much over buying an m5/m6.
this was my c5z had 12k miles on it when i got it sold it with like 15 or 16
this was my c6z got it with 3k miles on it sold it with like 16k few years later:

So what's next?

Melting Slicks
On # 2 as well.
First one was a C5 coupe and second a C5 Z06 currently with 33K on it . Next one will probably be a C6 Z06 or a C7 Coupe.
I was a Trans Am guy before the Vettes.

I think that there was a pretty big handling difference between my c5z and c7, but I think the c6z and the c7 were pretty close. The c7 handled like my M3 did but had amazing power throughout the whole powerband the m3 had crazy low end torque issues but revved to like 8400

I have put mine up for sale a few times, but I like it more than the buyers, apparently.
If I sell it, I will DEFINITELY buy another. And probably more expensive. This is why my wife doesn't want me to sell it. She didn't want me to buy it, and now she doesn't want me to sell it...

I came back once I had the fever. I had an 88 coupe in 08 sold it for a z71 silverado. but as I got close to retirement, I got a 96 LT4 coupe and now into an 08 coupe, hopefully next one will be a C7

Only thing i'd get rid of my GS for that's another corvette will be the C7Z.
But since it won't be a few years til they come down in price a bit, i'm just gonna enjoy with what i have.
But in the perfect world, i'd love to keep the GS, get the C7Z and get a C5Z and then life is complete.
