My driveway is steep at the street and the street is angled. I have to make right turns only into and out of the driveway. If I turn left into it I scrape the splitter bad.

As I said, if you can't drive into the driveway without scraping, then my advice will not help.

We moved into our current home in 2001, and I built a "ramp" at the gutter as several others in the subdivision had done. I angled the leading edge towards the street to direct rainwater and it works great for me. The ZR1 style splitter on my GS does not scrape, but the under bumper valance rubber panels still barely touch.

A few neighbors have the BRIDJIT.

Any ideas?
I ended up building up a couple large hunks of plywood, it still scrapes but much less so and against some relatively soft wood......

16' of the product. I do not scrape the splitter but even if you did it would be on the rubbery ramp and not the concrete

Not the best picture but you get the idea
This works it is one of the first mods I did to my ZR1. Highly suggest it.

This is exactly why I wouldn't do carbon fiber splitter or side skirts, they look great but cost way to much money to be putting that close to the ground. if not the curb the rock chips will kill it.

That is a serious steep incline from the street for the gutter to the sidewalk..

It's about 3" deep and I do not scrape the splitter at all. If I do not take a little angle in or out I do barely scrape the air dam but again it's on the rubber of the bridjit and not on the concrete. The ZR1 splitter is really no lower than the stock GS splitter; it just protrudes further forward sow you have more of a plowing effect.

Same with the side skirts. The shape of them makes the lowering less than 1/2" lower than just the rocker panel. I have no issue with speed bumps but I do roll gently over them. It's seems like most folks don't slow down for them and often see speed bumps gouged out by radiator supports.

As for getting them chipped up, I Xpelled them and have not a nick. Now if I lived in an area with many deep pothole or gravel roads, I would have thought hard about installing them.

I can't put a carbon fiber splitter on my car where I live. A Bridjit won't help me either due to the slope of my driveway. The drain passageways between streets still scrape even on approched angles. People get mad at me when I slow down for this. I have to rely on rollers installed in front of the plastic air dam to roll and lift the car enough to get up the slope. The air dam is considered a sacrificial lamb that scrapes every time. i also mounted skids under the rocker panels to protect them. Maybe someday a coil over air system will get installed. Pricey though.
