Opening Up Radiator Shroud

Opening Up Radiator Shroud
Hello all
Had some free time today and thought I'd take a stab at opening up the bottom of the radiator shroud to get cold outside air into my intake. I ditched the stock air intake from my 09 coupe that has the resonator attached and put in a Z06 one that doesn't have the resonator. I bought it from a Corvette guy who posted it on Craigslist. It came with a K&N filter and he sold me the whole thing for 90 bucks.
I posted pictures of the parts I used which I already had to begin with - didn't even have to go to Home Depot. Doing this very simple project took the whole of 15 minutes and needs no explanation because the pictures are self explanatory.
I took the time to post it cause our Forum has helped me out a lot in the past (going back to my C5 days) and hopefully, there may be those who might find this helpful. It's just another way of doing what others have already done. I did the install from under the car without having to lift it at all. Snug fit, simple to do, reversible and created a nice gap for cold, outside air to feed the intake.
