Like it or not, this is the future.

They did register the ERay name. Who knows if the Zora might be an electric and not at all what we think it's going to be.

I forget the HP, but it was very fast and very cool!
This may be the mod of the future when we all get our own solar powered battery charging systems at home.
Here it is if you're interested!

They don't offer any information about the engine/motor. Is it strictly an electric car or is it some type of hybrid? There's a "SUPERCHARGED" badge on the rear of the car so is it a S/C LS7 with electric assist? How much power is actually attributed to the electric motor? I'm sure the information is out there but it's kind of weak on the part of the writers to not tell us anything.

I want one (probably)! Anyone find some more specs? Like weight and how well it performs around a track. My guess is that the weight is high and track performance is bad, but I can dream

Le Mans Master
ditch the batteries and install a micro turbine/generator like the Shaguar CX75 prototype
really love the engineering on that car
lighter, more powerful and now the range is now limited by the on board fuel
I know the heat and noise issues are big challenges for the average Joe consumer, I want to go fast so I can live with roasting the marshmellows behind the car and a bit of turbine shreik as long as the reliability and power are right and available "all the time"
those little micro turbines are amazing and becoming on par cost wise with an engine build.
very light, good power running at optimum revs (turbines love it)
instant torq is instant gratification

Safety Car
Interesting concept but not practical yet
I find the electric car interesting but not ready for prime time yet.
-Good acceleration
-Nice toy
-Range is too short
-Charge times are too long
-Is not zero emission (Contrary to what is pushed by some uninformed people)
-No infrastructure to make it a viable daily option
-Batteries are very expensive
Lets see where this technology goes, it may be the future?

Ford, Porsche and others have already introduced "enhanced sound" electronically into the cockpit area for several of their models. Quiet outside... loud, and adjustable inside. Interesting.
I own one EV and love it. Didn't think I would... but after driving it for 9 months it's now my favorite.
400 miles a week in it... and it charges in 3.1 hours.
