Default Attack Blue air filters

Has anyone used an Attack Blue air filter? Any good? Do they surge? Wanted some feedback before I blow $130 on one. Thanks

Lots of opinions on that but I am under the impression that the stock air filter is more than adequate, so I'm sticking with it

I tried one. The sound is better when you get on it than stock.

I've had one in for almost a year now. Really don't notice any difference at all. The only possible problem I may have with it is getting it out to clean it. The fit was very tight when I put it in. Going to clean it this summer (if I can get it out).

Open mouth and narrow back design feeds your engine plenty of air but No surging at all.
Built like a tank. Possibly the last filter you buy for your car.

It is much tighter then the stock. Seals up real good. But getting it out is no problem. Simply put your hand into the open front mouth, then grab the inside lip and pull out the filter from the airbox.

Most power - no filter
Best filtration - OEM Donaldson
Everything else - a compromise

Pick your poison.

I Have an Attack blue filter still in the box It was a gift and I ended up having to sell my C6, so I never used it. If anyone is interested, its for sale.
Make offer.

Yeah, it's definitely worth it.

I did back to back testing with mine last year (comparing it to the ZR1 paper filter that I had been running) and the Attack Blue alone was good for a full tenth reduction in my ET.

This improvement was backed up by my HP Tuners scans which showed an increase in the amount of airflow.

Default attack filter

Thanks for all the input from forum members. I ended up buying one from a forum member and it looks like a very good quality filter and the fit is excellent. I'm sure it's as good or better then the OEM paper filter, and besides, I got a great price!

That's about the same difference I got between the OEM filter and no filter.

Bam. There it is. If I was racing my car for $, I'd put my Green back in... But the main purpose of MY filter is not 0.1 secs, it's engine protection. Of course I realized this only after buying and using a Green Filter... A nice filter you can read a newspaper through.

And I have put over or at 200k miles on a couple vehicles using oiled cotton gauze air filters. Evidently they filter out any meaningful amounts of dirt since I never had an issue with one. I am currently running a dry AEM drop-in filter in my F-150 and the stock paper filter in my GS. YMMV so pick your poison.
