The "showing its age" things doesn't work for me. My tried & true LS3 is old reliable, no cylinder deactivation & a rear end that doesn't look like an angry Mitsubishi...
I hear you about trade in value. I almost passed out at the first offer on my '07 C6. Finally found someone that had some sense, and went with a C7. While the C7 is absolutely great, I don't think the C6 will ever age in appearance. When I drove off in the C7, I couldn't look back. I may have stopped.
Went to the Corvette Expo in Sevierville today and a C7 had parked next to my little old coupe when I was ready to leave. I like the C7 and started thinking on my way home it maybe time to move up! After a washing and some Wolfgang products when I got home I think I will keep my old coupe for a little longer! Plus, with 126,000 miles it would make me cry when they told me what the trade in value would be!

I too have to agree. When I see a C7, the "aging" thing of my C6 doesn't even register with me. I still think the C6 is a much sleeker, smoother, nicer looking car...just my opinion.
