How much do you think my car weighs
So in the next few days I'm gonna take my car to get weighed. I have what I think to be the lightest c6 possible. I have a 2010 manual c6, base model 1lt. I also have nitto invo tires all around which are about 4 pounds lighter than the factory good years, and just switched to some TSW Nurburgrings which are also about 4 pounds lighter than the gumby wheels. I have full catless exhaust and a straight pipe muffler system (BB Bullets) so that is basically stripped as much as possible.
Looks like the Z51 package with a few options weighs in around 3200. So I figure mine with none z51 and no options is probably around the 3150-31-75 range, then with all the weight reduction I should be somewhere around 3100. Gonna weight it in about two or three days once gas tank is near empty.
What do you guys think the weight will be?

You should be in the 3100s with low fuel I would imagine.
You could go with a full tank of gas since then you'd have a known quantity of fuel and could calculate its weight based on that, unless you have a scanner that tells you exact fuel level vs just the gauge.

Hmmm, with the loud pipes you don't need no stinkin radio or speakers so toss 'em; toss the pass seat, also...hell throw out the carpet while you are there and don't forget the hatch/trunk carpet; toss the fuel rail covers; in fact, toss the wheel hub covers...

Safety Car
before or after lunch?
funny how we'll brag about saving 15 pounds at a cost of how many dollars but we, the driver are often the most excess weight in the car (sorry to all you thin folks.....)

Burning Brakes
3115lbs
My car is heavy in street trim. 08 2lt auto. With the front sway bar off, removed windshield wiper tank, catless headers, lighter converter, base brakes, 19/20 wheels, and half tank its 3280.
All out Ive gotten the car down to just above 2900lbs

With gas and driver, a 'vette with the LS3 has a wt/hp ratio of about 8 to 1.
So you have to remove 8 lbs to "gain" 1 hp.
Gotta take out a lot of stuff to make much difference.

Mine weighed 3320 with 4/5 tanks of gas and me in it.
2009 Z06
LT headers, catless X-pipe, Borla ATAK are probably the only mods that lost weight.
Curious to see what yours weighs in at.

I'm guessing anything below z06 is around 3250-3300 range with Z51 and GS cars pushing more than the base models.
I weighed my 4th gen Camaro with me in it came to 3650 lbs. I'm curious now what my 05 c6 is roughly based on your weighing.

3120 with 2/3 tank of fuel. So minus 70 pounds from that my car weighs 3050. Still had a few items in the car that weigh a couple pounds in sure. So a completely standard c6, non z51, full straight pipe exhaust system basically, and lighter wheels and tires.
